“Enthusiastic couple”
Review of De Sal y Dulce

De Sal y Dulce
Price range: US$1 - US$5
Description: Local and family owned bakery and coffee shop with modern flair in the center of Puerto Ayora on the island of Santa Cruz. We pride ourselves in providing our customers with the best desserts on the island. Our menu changes seasonally, but our family recipes stay the same!

We went here a few times to have breakfast or just have a coffee.
The enthusiastic couple makes the cakes themselves and have great (not too expensive) coffee and a fine breakfast.
They made the interior themselves and we liked the style very much.
You can sit outside and enjoy your coffee while watching the things on the street.

One of the only places in town to get a nice cappuccino with latte art. Loved it and came back many times.

You won’t find better coffee than this in Galapagos. In most places coffee tastes more like weird tea than coffee.
This tiny place makes unbelivable caffeinated drinks. When in need of an coffee, thats the place. It doesn’t open before 8.30 in the morning though.

This was an impulse stop worth the stop. We were walking the town and the smell from the bakery was so good we had to stop. The banana cupcakes were great. The have coffee and other drinks too.
