We had dinner here a couple of times, which already says enough. The grilled tuna was excellent, and the mango coconut juice delicious! Portions were quite large for us, but always well prepared.

To start with the good thing. The service is ok, friendly.
But that's about it.
We considered this restaurant as the reviews on ta were quite ok. And after some other restaurants, we gave it a go.
And whow, we really got disappointed.
Pizza dough not fresh, seems to be pre fab dough. Tasteless, tasted like cardboard. On the pizza tropical there was supposed to be ham pineapple and tomAtosauce and cheese. Yes they were. Only the small bits of pineapple gave some flavour to the thing called pizza.
Also the pizza clasica tasted like, like what?

Another had pasta with veggies. We do not know how they manage to get it tasteless.

So, no positive view at all and we certainly do not recommend it. There are far better places in santa cruz.
Maybe the meat is ok, but that we will never know.

Thank Hooray for holi... H

Nice restaurant, bit pricey but you do get a good meal. We had surf and turf - both equally delicious.

Wouldn't recommend the Endemica beer... it's nothing like a blond ale!

We bought live lobster across the road at the fish market. Our hotel recommended Isla as the place to take them to be cooked. Wow-wow-wow, beautifully cooked. All for the cost of the lobster at the market and side dishes at the restaurant (plus service tips). So worth it. Service was exemplary as well. Thanks Isla Grill - it's a 5 from me. We ate lobster two nights in a row, insane as it's not even my fav food! Hubby loves though so I was happy to humour him.
