The perfect retreat after our daily tours around the islands. Even if Peru was more adventurous, the activities around here are still very enjoyable. The staff was very welcoming and not to offensive with the service, they asked in the right moments when something was necessary. The food was excellent, fresh from the ocean. Occupied by many other couples, it didn't appear that the hotel was overcrowded or even full, but it was, so the privacy was always given.

Located at "los Alemanes" public beach, you only reach this nicely decorated hotel by boat from the central pier at Puerto Ayora in Santa Cruz (transfer incl only staying at Finch Bay). Counts with nicely decorated reception and dining area. The pool area counts with a bar, but no private beach. Only beach is the "los Alemanes" public beach in front of the hotel. The bathrooms of the hotel are mostly renovated in 2018, however some rooms still have the old bathroom.

We spent our 4 last nights of a 3 week trip to Peru & the Galapagos Islands at Finch Bay. It was the perfect end to an action packed holiday with the chance to relax by the pool or on the small adjoining beach. Staff were friendly and efficient, some excellent guided tours o offer, rooms were spotless and the food was very good. Happy Hour cocktails also went down well!

Finch Bay Hotel is quite a reasonable property, staff were attentive and helpful, check in was very informative and professional. Garden Rooms are good but not excellent, good size bed and robes. Some finishes a bit tired (they are in process of refurbishing the rooms) Restaurant food was very good, bar by the pool is very organised and well stocked. Wines & sparkling available by the glass, plenty of ice and fresh water. Pool good (not huge) Hotel overlooks Finch Bay , good swimming beach and lots to see in the lagoon, very safe (This is also a public beach so can get busy in afternoon.) Overall this is a great place to stay after a cruise.

We stayed here for 2 nights after a cruise around the Galapagos. There is so much to love about this place, namely the manager and staff are brilliant, and the food is amazing. The location is lovely with good facilities. Our rooms had been upgraded as they were super, with lovely bathrooms and gorgeous decor. At present there is building work disruption which affected us after breakfast. However the manager offered us another room, upgrading us to a suite with a sea view. ....brilliant.

We chose the 4-course menu which was amazing. Octopus salad, lovely soup, very tasty chicken or fish and tiramisu. A wonderful experience cost 45$. The breakfast experience fantastic too. Shrimp cerviche crunchy vegetables and perfectly cooked eggs with lots of fresh fruit and juice. Just heaven.

A perfect way to finish our trip to Ecuador.

Room Tip: The suites with ocean view are fantastic. The garden rooms are smaller.
