This place is a little more expensive then the rest of the street, but also a little more upmarket. Toilets are clean. We had the lobster. Have it from the grill. Tasty. They have eye for a little detail.

La Parrilla Pirata is the successor to one of the first restaurants on what is known as the "Calle los Kioskos," a street in the town of Puerto Ayora (the largest city on Santa Cruz Island in the Galapagos) that is lined with small restaurants who take over the street in the evening, filling it curb to curb with tables and turning several a block of pavement into a street party. The thing to get is seafood, fresh from the waters around the islands, and particularly the lobster -- freshly caught still moving crustaceans are stacked up alongside whole snapper on tables all along the street. La Parrilla Pirata is one of the few restaurants on the street large enough to have an actual off-street dining room (open to the scene so that you can still be part of it without being engulfed) and a full bar. My wife had a whole lobster for $15, and I had the mixed seafood grill, and the whole experience was wonderful, for $45 including drinks. If you are in Puerto Ayora for even one evening, skip the more expensive hotel dining rooms, go to the Calle los Kioskos, and eat at La Parrilla Pirata. And if you are there for two evenings, go twice and try one of the other "kiosks."

We had some really nice big lobster accompanied by white roasted corn. It was very tasteful and more than enough.

This is one of very few restaurants that really gets it! Their Fried Calamari is absolutely amazing and is the best that I have ever had. Their 2 x $7 drinks were great as well and we actually ordered drinks from there, even when we were eating at other restaurants. Amazing!

There are so many choices in Puerto Ayora when it comes to food. The street of Charles Binford is a favorite place for everyone in the evening. At 6pm the street are lined with tables, I called this place the street food of Puerto Ayora where you have choice from local Ecuadorian, kebab, seafood to pasta. We knew that Galapagos it ain't really cheap, but if you look for budget restaurant this is available in the island, if you want to fancy yourself is certainly not a problem there are choices of outstanding restaurant in Puerto Ayora prices are always stated in the menu book

After our five day cruise on our last night in the boat, we said to the chef cook that we weren't around for dinner as we're only passenger he only cook for us, so for the last night he is free. I'm keen for a pizza we walk from one street to another without any doubt we found La Parilla Pirata. A nice place so many choices a bit pricey but for the last night we treat ourselves for a good food.

The restaurant has nice interior beautiful wall decoration and they have free wifi. The outdoor seating is nice in the evening, there weren't much people yet, later on the whole place was packed. If you want to use the wifi just asked the password to the waiter

We have a quick service my seafood pizza is very delicious, Didier have the grilled. They have different kind of pizzas in the menu and I made a good choice this time I order the seafood and this really worth a price. We stayed for a while and have some drinks after dinner just able to used their free wifi. Staffs are friendly and good with English very nice place for dinner
