This was a fantastic place to stay. I highly advise staying in AS for a couple nights if you can. The rooms were nice with great mosquito nets. Nice music at night and the staff, family? were friendly.. Although I think we could have been the only ones there. But I really enjoyed my time here and I was lucky enough to be able to get up at four and walk to the temple and be the FIRST person to see it that day, before the busses showed up. The little town has a few local places where you can get a bit of food, but it seems there are hardly any tourists that actually stay here, which is good and bad for all sorts of reasons I won't go into. If you don't need to be waited on hand and foot or need to be entertained, you should stay here and soak up the vibe. It really is fantastic.More
