We wanted a quiet place with good beach access, what we got was a REALLY quiet place with excellent beach access. The large property isn't yet developed so for the time being this beautifully designed little cottage is one of four places on SigaSiga Sands for rent. It is perfect for a couple, from the size of the cottage to the layout and location. We loved it here and the only thing we'd change is to stay longer.....a week at least.
The swimming area is a short walk down the beach and the snorkeling is a longer slog straight out the reef - I much preferred the swimming beach. The beach right in front of the cottage is beautiful. We had dinner delivered from the kitchen and thought the food was great and reasonably priced, made for a very relaxing stay. The manager can get you a cab for any excursions - if you really have to leave...

We really appreciate hearing how you loved our newest cottage, the Seahorse Bungalow. My mother put a lot of tender loving care into the interior design. She will be thrilled to read this.
Yes, the 15 min walk out to the snorkeling lagoon is a bit of a "slog" (hehe). But I figure if was any easier to get to, it might be spoiled already by too much traffic. As it is, it remains pristine and full of life. But, like you say, there is always the swimming lagoon a short 5 min walk down the beach.
