“Visit to our history and culture”

Salarjung is located in the old city part near charminar. Museum is simply huge but most of collection is from nizams's private collection (my guess). Must visit parts are art gallery, the statue of veiled Rebecca and the central watch which gongs on hour interval. Remaining can be liked or not depending upon personal choices. One whole day can be devoted by first time visitors. Few things to note are at some parts such as veiled rebecca camera's or photography is strictly prohibited. Outside food items are prohibited though their is an eatery inside. Visitors have to buy ticket worth Rs 25 to enter

“awesome personal collection of nizam”
Reviewed 23 February 2012

The museum exhibits the gifts and mementos presented to the last Nizam on the occasion of the silver jubilee celebrations in 1937. A 1930 Rolls Royce, Packard and a Mark V Jaguar are among the vintage cars displayed. There is an interesting collection of models made in silver of all the prominent buildings of the city

“Best Museum I have ever seen!!”
Reviewed 22 February 2012

Wow.. Dat will be your expression once you will know the history of this museum.. This is the huge museum which consists of collection of 1 man..

It has great sculptures, paintings, watches, crocary, cloths.. Whatever u can imagine of having in possession is possessed in this museum.. Some things are so amazing and awesome that you will love the way they are...

You will have to walk a lot there and be ready to spend an entire day there.. There is the cafeteria inside museum where you can eat.. So no need to worry about that.. You can keep your luggage in clock room and walk around the museum..

You will be stunned once you visit all the sections there.. Simply Amazing...
