It's big and architecture wise good. Not much parking outside. It was hardly 10-15 min visit. It was built in 1600 AD..

The church reminds one of era gone by. The beauty it holds reminds one of how beautiful it would have been in the past.
Maintained and in service but in requirements of greater maintenance.

The Bom Jesus church is one of the historical sites within the Daman Fort Area. It is not the best church in Daman, but still worth the visit. They have tried to maintain and preserve as much of the old structure and beauty as possible. Inside the church you can see the original carvings and sculptures still maintained on the altars. At the entrance of the church, they have placed a map marking all the historical sites located inside the church. You can use this as a guide to explore the fort area. Photography and Videography are prohibited inside the church building. Do not miss the small grotto dedicated to Mother Mary on the left-hand side of the church.

A quaint and lovely church that's worth the visit. Shows a lot of history behind Daman. A 17th century beauty.
