Nice hotel, rooms, staff, food. The rooms were just too good.... as soon as you open ur curtains, you will have the beautiful sea in front..... Nice play area nd swimming pool for kids... Nice food too.... Hotel staff was very friendly

We stayed for one night! WE were quiet happy with the property! Decent and clean place,but the management is poor! THey show guests too many rules!! WE felt we were living in a hostel not a hotel ! The staff is out right rude in thier behavior! we had booked 5 rooms and requested for sea view we got only 1 sea view room.We asked for allowing our alcohol with paying cockage charges they dint allow and lost our business of atleast 25000/- bill on dinner as we went to other place for dinner!
The breakfast next morning was with stale breads, no live eggs counter,and few items on menu inside a stuffy room!
They can do better! Thestaff needs training from a good corporate trainer!
We even bought their membership card but hardly used it as there were rules again!!!

Room tip: one can ask for seaview room but whether they give it is a doubt!

The hotel did not meet the expectation on the 4 star rated hotel and the price it charges.

We were offered sea facing view on 1st floor. Immediately on entering the room noticed the paint in the room is peeling off.not a sight you expect when you are paying 9k for a night.

Then noticed there were no towels in the room. Basic error on housekeeping.

Then start the noise. The rooms have not been sound proof so you constantly get to hear the shouts of people in the pool. The thumping music keeps irritating you in the room. As the evening goes on it gets worse as you start hearing live music and karoke.

Immediately outside the room was a sitout area where people sit and have loud conversation. The poor sound proofing ensures you get to hear everybit of it.

Typically not a resort if you are looking for peace of mind.

Further, there is no direct access to beach from hotel. The beach facing part has been demolished and no one has bothered to clear out the debris.

For 3 people in the room you get only 2 complimentary 500ml water bottle.

While checking out asked to fill feedback form. The form is supposed to be confidential. But again was surprised that the reception opened it and immediately asked the reason for low rating for housekeeping.

Saving grace is the friendly conversation we had with the staff and the breakfast.

Pathetic dinning experience . Biryani we ordered is horrible taste, stale ingredients , resort is nice 4 years back but now.. don’t come here for food or drink expensive and horrible experience! No good services. No courtesy to change food !

Booking The Gold Beach Resort in Daman was one of the biggest mistakes I did. Booked the hotel through MMT, had to fly from Delhi to Surat to check in the property. We were 06 people booked in 04 rooms travelling for a business trip to Vapi. The flights got cancelled due to torrential rains and hence we called to ask them to cancel that day’s booking and keep it open for 2 weeks, which they declined. We even offered them to charge us for that day, and still keep the booking open, to which they disagreed again. The receptionist Shushant was an absolute snob and wouldn’t talk to us properly. For anything, he had an answer, the GM doesn’t allow. I mean what’s this kind of hospitality? Hospitality implies means being hospitable and you by virtue of being in the hospitality industry should be service oriented. It’s a pity the hotel like this one, talked so much about came to be treating us like this. They are rude and don’t care a dime for any guest, whether you pay them or not. After losing 20 K for no reason, I can only say, neither do they value service orientation, nor do they value someone’s time.
Hands down !!
