On a three week holiday to goa I called in the Moroccan Shisha one night for something to eat, it isn't the most appealing place to look at but I was feeling tired and couldn't be bothered going to far from the hotel. The restaurant is long and narrow and runs along the side of the main road great for watching the world go by which is great fun on an Indian road with cars scooters bus and cows all vying for the middle of the road. Once seated at a table I noticed that most of the other customers were smoking shishas rather than eating, then the waiter gave me two menus one for food one for drinks and walked off without taking my drink order eventually he came back and took my order I ordered a starter and main course and he asked if I wanted them bringing together. I was beginning to think I had picked the wrong restaurant to eat at. When my starter arrived I was pleasantly surprized I had ordered the hot and sour soup which was really tasty with lemon grass very nice then I had one of the kebabs for main again really enjoyable. So I ended up spending longer than I intended listening to the live music while having a few beers watching the street a very pleasant evening. I made a couple more visits during the rest of my holiday and each time the meal was great and the staff remembered me and made me feel most welcome, well worth a visit.
