My wife and I stayed at Wildflower in the first week of June. Notwithstanding the surprisingly clement and cool weather, which was not unlike Coorg, our stay at Wildflower only made the whole experience many times better. We stayed at Lemon Mint Villa which is in a quiet and secluded corner of the property. The staff were of the best kind - I say this because we never once felt we needed them! The food, though on the expensive side, is totally worth it considering the quality and service. I would highly recommend Wildflower to anyone wanting to visit with family or just want to wind down. Soaking in Goa without having to leave a property is a definite pull to Wildflower.

Room Tip: Don't forget to get your swim wear - the pool is well maintained and has a nice view.

I wanted an Un-Hotel experience in North Goa. Reviews were great on TA hence we landed up at Wildflower Villas.

The setting is nice and natural. Overlooking a small valley (a new Hilton is starting soon on the opp. hills). Lovely trees and walking pathways. Rare trees like Breadfruit tree can be enjoyed besides several cashew trees bearing summer fruits.

Lovely swimming pool overlooking the valley. It's well maintained. Service was decent esp. Ronnie took good care. The 3 pet dogs are cute and friendly!

Our only issue with the property: its a little run-down and it's showing in its infrastructure. During our 3 days stay we didn't see or meet the owners who are local Goans.

Most of the times, friends who talk about Goa actually talk about 'a' resort in Goa... same thing has happened to us a couple of times. A good five star beach resort in Goa and you are sorted... stay in and savour the luxury... NOT REAL.... Wildflower Villas as slightly off beat, with all the necessary amenities, away from beach but accessible with vehicle, a good resort on a hilly terrain, built with lot of love for the environment and run with lot of love for nature. What an experience... relaxing, quite, great service, prompt response and everything you need. Please do not reduce prices, please do not reduce service and we will definitely be back. 5mins from Museum of Goa - another place not to be missed...

Room Tip: Take the room (Poopey) if you don't want to walk a lot on hilly terrain.

Set on a hill in Candolim, the views from Wildflower villas are stunning. The property consists of a set of villas, each unique in its feel and character. We stayed at Lemon Mint, which was the most private villa, with its own pathway leading up to a gorgeous villa reminding you of ancestral houses. The room is large and spacious with a four-poster bed, with long windows providing ample sunlight.

Bathrooms are large with a shower and tub. The property prides to be eco-friendly and toiletries are herbal (they're lovely!). The infinity pool is definitely the star of the property, with an open shower beside the pool which is equally cool.

Meals are served in the dining area with a large adjoining terrace. Breakfast was good, lunch was tasty enough. The staff is friendly and accommodate your requests as best as they can. Bikes can be rented on request (via an external provider I assume).

They do not provide room service and I do not consider this is a negative point. As a resort, this ensures cleanliness is maintained, and gives you a good reason to get out of the villa and spend some time outdoors admiring the property.

Since all the villas are separated from each other, you hardly see any of the other guests, anywhere else, but in the dining area. A recommendation would be to increase the collection of books and board games.

If you're looking for peace and tranquillity, away from the bustling crowds of main town Goa, then this is the place to be.

Room Tip: If you're a couple, opt for the Lemon Mint villa.
