Courteous and extremely efficient staff, very gentle caring owners, the location is beautiful although a lil away from the city but very peaceful and scenic, gives access to almost private beas river bank, awesome food and drinks, beautiful location surrounded on all sides by mountains, the manager at the front desk helped plan the holiday for us, provided taxi service at reasonable rates, beautiful cottages and suites. Amazing experience. A friend referred us to this place and I would recommend it all who care for a clean good peaceful rewarding experience. A big thanks to each and everyone on the management team for an awesome experience. Thank you!

I was visiting Manali after 24 years. I got a shock of my life when I reached Mandi. The road that ran next to Beas with lush green trees on the banks of Beas were all gone. Both the side of roads were full of concrete blocks and one or two storey buildings. Kullu had transfered from a lush green valley to a cement concrete jungle.

Reaching Manali Mall Road market gave me the 2nd Shock. It was worst than the fish Market and my wife and son suggested - sitting in the cab- that we cut down the stay.

And than we reached Highland Park Manali which is 4.5 Kms above the Mall Road Market. We were relieved. Beautiful Location. Peaceful. Serene. Quite. Green. On the banks of Beas. Almost everything that we expected Manali to be.

The chalets are good. The rooms are spacious for a couple or a family. The property has a small garden with a deck where you can spend hours watching the beauty of Manali. The 360 degree view is very good. Lush green Mountain ahead and behind. Beas river rapids flowing at one side. Everything as what a vacation spot ought to be.

The dining room needs a serious make over. It is kept quite unclean. All the table cloth were stained and were never changed in all of our 4 nights stay. The food is neither bad nor very good. You can say it is edible. Food variety especially the breakfast spread should be wider. The waiters do not understand much and hence you cannot expect much service from them in the dining room.

Cleanliness service also needs improvement. We had lunch and dinner once in our rooms. The plates remained on the table for at least 2 hours after lunch and were taken back after 3 intercoms to the service dept.

No internet facility or business centre.

They use a old boiler to supply warm water and the water thus turns yellow. My son 1st got scared to see yellow hot water coming out of the taps. This is what we did not like at all.

Ignoring the above 4 drawback, everything was wonderful. The stay was good. We all had a decent sleep all the nights. The resort had a Pool Table and a Table Tennis Table and my son and his friend enjoyed spending time there.

Night time camp fire was enjoyable. Though of course the nights were cold and we were holed up in our rooms.

One of the good part was that it had a small lane to go down to the banks of Beas. We spent good 2 hours soaking our feet in the chilled water of Beas.

Overall definitely a good stay - irrespective of the drawbacks - as compared to the hotels in the main city!

No doubt that highland park is on excellent location but then there is not good service. rooms are good but not very spacious. Staff is very sweety and friendly but when you ask for something you have to wait for more then ???

positive - Good location - Riverside - Friendly Staff - on Rohtang road
Negative - average service - average food - bathroom are so so

you have to ask for everything whatever you want whether it includes in your package or not. but yes, once you asked they will provide otherwise they don't bother.

No Doubt the Resort is located at its Best of the Locations, But if you say that it is a 4 Star Property then its a Mistake. The Main Lobby Toilets Stinks more then a bye lane toilet in Chandni Chowk. The Toiletrie provided is a small hamam soap (costs Re1) & 2 pouches of Clinic plus shampoo and that tooo once in a stay of 5days. The Rooms are Never Cleaned and if you request several times then you are lucky that your request is considered. The water in Toilet comes in pale yellow colour and never feel like brushing your teeth and having bath. The food is tasty and oily, but not to the mark of a 4 star resort.

Booked a Luxuria Suite through email and by making a transfer to their bank account with ICICI Bank. Since I had already stayed at Manali, wanted to try out a resort outside the main city. The location of this resort is amazing. Beautiful glass chalets, well maintained lawns, apple orchard, cherry tree, Beas river down below and snow capped mountains all around. The hotel is located about half an hour away from Manali and lies on way to the Rohtang Pass and thus is an excellent place for going to Solang & Rohtang pass as it gives you half an hour of extra edge to beat the traffic.
Rooms:
The rooms are quite small but are beautiful. Made in the form of a glass chalet having two independent rooms on each floor.
Bathroom:
The bathroom is adequately spacious & warm water is provided. However the plumbing system is quite old and hence the warm water is light brown in colour due to the rusting of the pipes.
Service:
The hotel employs local people and they are very sweet, hardworking & courteous. Just beware of a room service guy who is very nosy and is on the look out for a tip.
Food:
This is the wost part of the hotel. The food is really bad and extremely expensive ( an omlette is charged at Rs.100/-). Although we had opted for MAP plan with the breakfast and dinner included in the tariff, we found the food to be very oily. Also there is no option other than eating at the resort as it is located in a secluded place.
Sleep Quality:
Had a poor sleep owing to the peculiar shape of the bed.
Liked:
Loved the location and the airy feel through out the property.
Disliked:
Food and also the fact that although the resort is located near the river, the access to the river is very difficult.
