We stayed in a family cottage in May 2018 - family trip - 4 adults, 3 kids.

Pros:
- The cottages are quite nice and spacious with a cozy common living room - wood finish inside and very clean
- The property has some great terraced lawns - amazing greenery all around with nice views of the mountains - you may not feeling like going out of the resort
- Nice, quiet, and laid back feel to the place - not crowded as the rooms are few.
- Walking distance from Old Manali (5-7 min walk to the bridge near Cafe 1947) that has a lot of excellent food joints. Johnson's cafe is also walking distance. For an adult - you can go up to Old Manali or walk down to the mall quite easily so great location for eating out. Almost all of Manali's best restaurants are within walking distance.

Cons:
- Have to ask reception to turn on water heating after ~11 AM. Not sure if this is common in Manali
- Strictly average breakfast buffet spread - limited options. Taste-wise the food is okay.
- The road from the mall to hotel and going up to Old Manali can get very crowded and hard to walk at times as it's very narrow.

Located in Old Manali, the hotel is a complete package when it comes to leisure retreat. It comes with wonderful attic rooms, great views, indoor games like Table Tennis, Carom, chess and outdoor facilities like an attached garden, badminton ground etc. The only lop side is in terms of food options available.

Good Stay , Whatever we wanted where there. Floor mate in the living room was not sufficient.
Rooms were nice for a family of 4 to 6. Walk able distance to the market street, Auto's also available frequently. Good place for a family and couples

I booked three nights in the off season through Agoda for AUD241 for three nights including breakfast. This is a good quality, mid range hotel located on the Club House Road between Old and New Manali, walking distance or a short ride between the two.
This is not a new hotel but it is spacious and stylish and the staff were pleasant and courteous.
I could have given an excellent rating but there was no heating except for two bar vertical radiators and it was -6C at night and snowing during the day when we stayed there.
I booked a Deluxe double room and it was very large and really clean. Oddly we were given an L-shaped room with two queen sized beds within sight of each other, one with a low table and arm chairs and the other with a large flat screen television and access to the balcony. I am not sure who would want that configuration, perhaps it was a very glamorous twin. Anyway it was light, bright, comfortable and pleasant.
The large convenient bathroom had a truly enormous shower space and a good rain flow hot shower. There was a safe, a desk, English TV channels and a mini fridge. The restaurant food and room service were good.
The lovely view of the snow capped mountains from the balcony was slightly obstructed from our room. The lobby, restaurant and outdoor dining area were all very large. The garden was pretty.

This one of the first resorts in Manali. A heritage property, slightly old styled and not refurbished. However the hotel staff are very courteous, they guide you really well for local sightseeing. They are also very flexible when it comes to bookings. The food here is amazing. The best tawa rotis in Manali. They have an open air restaurant as well, which offers a view of the snow capped mountains. They have play area in the resort too. The resort overlooks lush green alpine forests and snow capped mountains making it an ideal place for a summer break.
