Visited the place a month ago and after traveling in India and tried Tibetan food in many places, I can highly reccomend this place as one of the best. Ate there few times during stay in Leh, food is tasty and feels healthy, not greasy and without artificial additives.
Potato cheese fried momos are super delicious.

This place is in the opposite lane of Leh market.. Very famous place and almost always crowded.. Why?? Because they make one of the best and authentic chinese as well as the best momo(atleast according to me). Me and my friends visited this place on our trip to ladakh.. I insisted my friends to visit this plac and they too loved it.. Its a pure veg restaurant. You will fall in love with the food here once u have food here.. Highly recommended.

This restaurant was a bit of work to be honest. When we arrived it was half empty but we still had to go up and poke our head behind the kitchen curtain to give someone our order, same deal at the end when it came to pay the bill. No sauce served with the momos so they were a bit bland and dry - they . We were lucky because we got our order in before a few more tables of tourists arrived. Locals who come in are given priority over tourists which could mean you wait a very long time for food. Although there were three tables waiting on food locals could come in, order and get their food prepared while everyone else in the restaurant continued waiting. It is cheap with large portions but I would recommend trying somewhere else.

Small room... one lead lady.. but that humble restaurant remains packed most of the time.. we ordered one portion potato cheese momo which was unique and well prepared and veg momo which was also nice.. my wife particularly enjoyed the red chilly garlic dry chutney (some version of schewauan sauce and is very spicy) they serve with momo. Portion size is very good around 10 momos in one plate.. Thupka was also nice. But it's a meal in itself..
