The room reminded me of their rooms at Ooty. Spacious. Old and weary. Still comfortable. Like old rooms, plug points in short supply for the modern traveller with gadgets in tow. Could manage.

Located on St Marks Road, it suited my convenience. Business visit, close to UB City.
The hotel has good food as a solid plus point. The sidewalk cafe has a decent range of pastas and pizzas, like its counterpart in Ooty. And yes. Nahar is VEGETARIAN. So, for the non-vegetarians, this would be a let down.
There is an Indian restaurant also. Jaisalmer. Did not have the occasion to try it out, but given my familiarity with Nahar, surely will not let you down.
The breakfast (complimentary) is minimal, but wholesome.
Room service, housekeeping are more than adequate.
And yes, in the basement, there is an Udupi restaurant (not part of the hotel) which can meet your hunger pangs and give you some good filter coffee too.
If you are looking for this location (centre of the city) with access to transport, food and shopping, Nahar is a good choice. There are cheaper options, but the room size, the service and the food quality make up.

Room Tip: For a small difference, you get a double room- slightly larger.

Stayed in room no 203.
The dust accumulated beneath the writing table speaks about the poor housekeeping. Air conditioner in room is not working. Television set up box not working. Wi- Fi not working.
Almost all rooms are stinking. Ceasing fan is continously sounding. Maintainance of infrastructure is very poor

If you are visiting bangaluru then Nahar's Heritage is an ideal place to stay as they are offering 4 star services on very competitive prices. Food is very tasty, hotel staff is very friendly specially Front Office & Housekeeping people. Rooms are neat and clean.

Room Tip: All rooms are good

its a decent hotel, good price, good breakfast, and the staff is co-operative. And great location. The bus stop is also walking distance. All major route buses (to airport too) pass from the nearby bus stop.
Though they say they have free wi-fi, it was not working during the entire time of my stay of 3 days
