Upon arrival you're greeted by very helpful and pleasant staff . The hotel rooms are large and comfortable. Bathrooms spacious with huge tubs to relax and unwind in after a day sightseeing. Afternoon tea is a complete waste of time with horrendously overpriced fare. Free wifi is great. Book the restaurant for dinner early but there are many other delightful options in the locality. Overall enjoyed the stay at the hotel which is centrally located in fort cochi. However it's a good 40 to 60 minutes from the airport depending on traffic.

We spent 2 days/1 night at the Brunton Boatyard and I must say that it was the best part of our trip in Kerala (with the possible exception of the houseboat in the backwaters). Our hotel room was spacious, spotless, luxurious, and had an amazing view of the water. Service was exceptional, from the moment we stepped in, to our departure. The restaurants were great and not particularly expensive, although of course better deals can be had in town. The ayurvedic massage offered is on the higher-end price wise, but is definitely recommended. The complimentary boat tour in the afternoon was an unexpected bonus.

Highly recommended!! Tip: All rooms have excellent views, but the corner room on the 1st floor is the best room in the hotel (I think it was room 209).

We spent 3 nights at the Brunton Boatyard and really loved it. The service and warmth of the staff was exceptional, and the best we received during our trip to India. We loved our suite and would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Cochin. The driver supplied by the hotel, Joseph, was a real delight too.

We arrived here after travelling for 14 + hours, so not feeling at our most jaunty! The staff were wonderful and welcoming. The room was spacious and clean with a great view of the water. It was fascinating to watch all the boat traffic going past.
The hotel puts on a free 1 hour sunset boat trip in the evening and this was brilliant. The staff in both the restaurants were helpful and attentive and the food really good. My husband had a massage in the spa, which reached were other massages have not reached before!! Ha ha!!
On our last morning with them we awoke at 10am and realised we had missed breakfast. We decided to go over the road to the little restaurant (which incidentally also does good food) and on handing our key in the receptionist realised we had missed breakfast and with one quick phone call we were taken to the restaurant and a delicious breakfast was provided with a smile.
Cannot fault this hotel, really nice people too.
