Description: Somewhere on this planet is a land...where stories are born and reborn with every passing moment. A land where there are trees that will tell you stories that no book can. Where stories wake up in playgrounds every morning and go to sleep with the waves every night. It is a land where stories smell of cinnamon and pepper and coconut... where stories are trapped in fishing nets and yet roam free in every heart. It is a land where stories have no borders and speak every language...and are found in every pair of eyes...happy stories, sad stories...stories of all the yesterdays that went past us and every tomorrow that is waiting to happen. You can call this land a piece of paradise or swargam or jannat. It is where you are the story-teller... and you are also the story. Yes... somewhere on earth is a land called Fort Kochi. It is the land of Qissa, ...Qissa...that Persian word for story..... We all have our Qissas and we are a part of countless Qissas. Come share, find and celebrate Qissas at Qissa ! Where there is 'A Story in every Sip'

Bright airy light cafe that serves up a western style menu. Stopped here in the afternoon to have a break from the heat an enjoyed a nice ice coffee. Service is friendly but relaxed.

Nice, Western style cafe. Best coffee we had in Cochi, nice lassis too. Friendly, relaxed environment which is reflected in the service. Only minor drawback, still went twice.

We came hoping for Indian food in the air conditioning. I’m giving two stars only because the chocolate cake was good. Otherwise there is little to recommend. The sandwiches are just ok, the pasta is sort of weird. In a country with food this great, why eat mediocre Western fare?

We came for coffee and cake in the middle of a very hot day.
The cold coffee was very good in comparison to the cappuccino.
There weren't many choices for desserts but we had the banana toffee pie that was very good.
Recommend but not in case you are coming just for a good coffee.
