“Good Location and Nice Little Hotel”
Reviewed 25 January 2012

The place is well centred, right next to Mehrangarh fort and a quick tuk tuk to the bazaar. There is a lice lounge for indoor relaxing (rare in Rajasthan) and several great deck areas for lounging and eating. The room itself was clean with a clean bathroom and a little sun bed area by the window. Overall a very pleasant place.
The only negative was that the wifi seemed to be perpetually out.

we wanted to write this review some long time ago but when we returned to australia everything was full on for us and it did not happen. but here we are. singhvi's haveli was a lovely stay for us. the tuktuk drivers found it with no problem. we had the room at the very top floor with its own tiny terrace at the door. the room was simple and charming and perfect for us we could see the fort from one window high above us, fantastic. also we had a view of the charming buildings to the side of us and little streets with an interesting street life to sit and watch. jodhpur for me has always been about the colour, the white, blue and sand. the view from the top floor terrace at night is i believe a great art work of the world. the colours and shapes and harmony of the hillside houses inthe twilight and night was an unexpected gift of grace. i felt like i had seen the perfect painting, .if i had been alone i would have stayed at this haveli longer just to watch this picture. . the haveli itself is lovely and charming and very well looked after. my friend had the special room on the second floor with all the mirror work. it was wonderful to have the chance to experience this magical room. .the bathroom in this room was so nice and ambient. service quick and smiling. the restaurant food was good. Arpan, the manager/owner of the haveli was kindness itself. he arranged for us to attend his friends wedding, where we had the best time and were overwhelmed by the beautiful wedding and the generousity of the families toward us. he also helped us out when our taxi to jaisalmer had problems. he made the problem disappear. may be good to ask Arpan where to shop as we got ripped off big time. lovely stay. ,beautiful.

Room Tip: large room at the top of the building fabulous view

This haveli has a fun roof deck with stunning views of the blue city. It's distance from the Clock Tower is ameliorated by its close proximity to the less popular entrance to the fort. Entering the old gates, you'll feel as if you're exploring your own personal citadel.

Rooms are comfortable and restaurant has great food.

This hotel is a bit far from the Clock Tower, in a more residential neighborhood. It's nice because you get away from the touts, but not all tuk tuk drivers will know how to get there. The upside is that you are a five minute walk from one of the entrances to Mehrangarh Fort, the main attraction. Actually, this entrance is right near the Flying Fox, so it's easy to be one of the first people to show up for the zip lining (important considering that the slots fill up very quickly).

We stayed in the Maharani Suite, which had 10 windows and a fort view. It was a very spacious room; however, it is located at the top of the hotel, so you have to walk up at least 4 flights of stairs to get to the suite.

One item to note is that the food at the restaurant was not good. Perhaps they are trying to accommodate westerners, but the food was very bland.

Considering the price, I would say that this hotel is a very good value. However, if you like being in the middle of shopping and near the Clock Tower, this is not the hotel for you.

Good room with ok price (700 rupees). No free pick-up, no special attention. My room was nicely decorated comfortable with hot water but my bathroom was a bit smelly. The food was ok but not great. However the location is fantastic!!! Out of this world views- in a local area with 'back-door' access to the fort- say you are going to the temple and save yourself 250 rupees.

Stayed in the suite which is painted with Indian scenes and colourful patterns. 10 windows which look out over the fort and blue city....but each window is nly about 30cm long and 15 wide so the views aren't as good as they would be if they were big windows.

No TV.

Good shower!

Rubbish food.....could get a better curry from sainsburys (a UK supermaket chain)....other than the auloo parantha which was really good

On our last night there were lots of fireworks going off around town so when we were settling the bill we asked the occassion and the boss told us it was a small diwali. We then went to our room and 5 mins later our hotel had fireworks....think they should have told us as we had already undressed so couldn't then go out to watch them

It is a bit of a mission to get ther but once ther you are rewarded with the best view of Jodhpur.
It is wothr the trip if for nothing else. We had a huge suite to start with and then moved upstairs to a smaller room, both were comfortable. The suite was in style of course but the smaller room was average. They have a great lounge inside if you can ever pull yourself away from the view. The food is fine and the staff friendly and helpfull. Very close the entrance to the Fort and the markets. Best place to stay for my money.
