The bagore ki haveli was just OPP to our guest house which was above cafe edelweiss..The very first day 24 March we landed in Udaipur and we were recommended to watch this cultural show called dharohar in evng..We went by 6 pm and easily got ticket. We did not buy extra tkt to take pics though..After going through few artifacts and pics we found the place to see the show.. Seating arrangements are good but if you are early you get good seats..I felt initially that one hour would be too much but once it started we were mesmerized as for every dance form from interiors of Rajasthan was explained both in Hindi and English.. the dances were too good and puppet show topped it..I would surely recommend ppl to see this show..Just reach early and you are set. Yes though seating arrangement is bit worrisome if it rains. We visited museum part after few days as we had time..Even that is also good except no guide and we were on our own chking the exhibits..Overall great experience and learning about the various dance forms.

The show at the Bajore Haveli isn't big on production values but still it's one to see. The one hour program begins at 7 pm but the seats were almost all filled when we arrived at 6:20. They packed an amazing number of people into the courtyard of the old haveli and it really was warm with that many people there. Latecomers squeezed in on carpets laid out in front.
There are two men providing live music and singing and they accompanied all of the dancing. Most of the dances featured women in brightly colored outfits. The finale is an amazing display by an older lady doing a dance with waterpots. As the dance progressed, her assistant would add more pots. The final count was 11. It was not Disney World, but we really enjoyed the show.

We went to Udaipur on long weekend, first evening we reached the venue at 6:30 PM to see the show only to see a huge line for the 7 PM show. By the time our turn came the show was all booked, so we bought the tickets for next day show. Next day we reached at 6:20 PM and took good seats ( there were already some 20 visitors already seated). The show is of one hour, but it's very well executed, with beautiful folk dances from various parts of Rajasthan and puppet show.
The part of the haveli where it's conducted has open terrace, so in summers there can be issue with mosquitoes, else it's overall a must see.
