“Nice scenic place”
Review of Dolphin's Nose

Its a must visit place, offers a good view of valley around and the route to here is also very scenic. Drive is a bit difficult, and narrow roads make it even bad, Better to take a local driver, if you want to enjoy properly.

It is situated 12 km from coonoor with vehicles going up to the view point. One can enjoy tea estate along the valley which is perfect for photography. We can enjoy binocular view from the place.

Its a very nice view point but to see dolphins nose you have to use a telescope which is additionally charged. There are a lot of monkeys which are very mischevous and snatch things like bags and glasses.

The beauty of Coonoor lies in the journeys to the points, rather than the points themselves. The same is with Dolphin Nose, which is somewhat crowded, with people jostling for space. However, the views from the extreme end is beautiful -- peaks and mountains jutting out, with a waterfall in the distance. We went in the off-season, but the holiday season can be quite a nightmare.
There is a person, who for Rs.10, will show four points through his telescope -- nothing great about it though.

Good panoramic view from the top. Beware of monkeys. Parking is very congested but manageable at the end.
