Stay away from this hotel !! We had a terrible experience here !!

Pros : Breakfast was good
Cons:
1. Despite knowing that renovation work had to be done, they gave me a room right next to the room where construction was supposed to happen. We were unable to even get a modicum of sleep. Even after repeatedly notifying room service, housekeeping and reception, the construction kept on going and only after shouting at housekeeping staff was there some respite for half hour.
2. The room was not even serviced before we checked in. There was dust all over the floor and the bathrooms were dirty. Attached is the photo of the amount of dust that was collected after we called housekeeping to clean our room. Stay away from this place - Hotel Supreme next door or Golden Park is far better !

Room tip: Don't choose this place. If you do - you will regret it, make sure to enquire if construction is going on.

Thank you for being our guests at Rathna Residency Madurai and at the outset please accept my sincere apologies for your less than perfect experience with us. I am indeed very disheartened to learn about your underwhelming disappointments and would like to offer my sincerest apologies on behalf of the entire team at Rathna Residency Madurai. You are a highly regarded patron of ours and I am sorry that we caused many inconveniences to you on your recent stay with us. I feel personally saddened that we have let you & ourselves down. I take complete ownership for the same and assure you that we have taken your feedback very seriously. Your experience at various places was certainly not as per the standards. My team sends their regret for not being able to live up to your expectations and is working hard to iron out these imperfections.

The above not withstanding, we would greatly appreciate if this could be treated as an isolated incident as this is not something what Rathna Residency stands for and I hope that you will give us another opportunity to make amends as well as showcase our improvements to you in the near future.

An Ideal Budget Hotel

WE stayed at Rathna Residency for a Day during our visit to Madurai to visit Temples. The Hotel is centrally located and is easily accessible.The Rooms are neat and the Tariff we chose included Breakfast also. The Breakfast was adequate. The Wireless which is free is an additional attraction. Check in and Check out Professional. Staff very courteous and helpful

Hotel Near to Railway Station

I stayed at this hotel couple of days back. Hotel is near to railway and near to Shopping area.

Hotel Needs a improvement. The walls in the rooms have water strains and the switches are broken.

Also we can feel the Cigar smell in the Rooms when we checked in. When i informed this they had refreshed the room with room freshener. Room Service needs to be fast. When i ordered for some food i made 2 calls to get it with in 20 mins.

Breakfast that has been provided is very limited,

Good Budget hotel for short stay

It's a good clean room and bathroom with basic amenities, TV, water bottle, table chair etc. They provide medimix soap, clinic plus shampoo sachet, talc and coconut oil sachet a toiletries which I found very useful. The shower in my room was good too. They provide extra bed, they give a city with mattress on it which makes it very comfortable. Generally in most hotels only mattress and bed sheet is provided. There is free Wi-Fi too in rooms. Complementary breakfast is provided a well. It's close to Amman temple, resist station, bus stop, and many vgood restaurants. Good place for a short stay.
