We stayed at the Rowan tree for 2 nights. We had a room with a view, which mostly includes the Ooty town and mountains in the far. The rooms were very spacious and it was very comfortable. The staff is very helpful and polite, also the food is very good. Food is clean and tasty, which we didn't honestly expect. There is space for parking and it's safe. The hotel is located near the main town and everything is quite close by.

I visited this place last week. We stayed there for couple of weeks. Staff is very courteous as well as rooms are clean. Some points to note if you re planning to stay here:
1) Breakfast is complementary. However it includes only south indian dishes.
1) The room we stayed did not have any view and infact surrounded by lot of houses so could not even open the curtains. So you might need to enquire beforehand if they have rooms with view available
2) Location - This place is located a bit far from the main road and the roads are dimly lit. So we decided not to stay outside till late evening
3) Parking also a problem here.

Nice place to stay and the complementary breakfast was good and tasty...Staff’s are very friendly and helpful..hotel location is near to ooty bus stand and rose garden and botany garden are in walkable distance from the hotel

This is an excellent property - courteous staff, clean rooms, great service. And prices were surprisingly great too! Money's worth to stay here. Definitely recommended. Very close by to many attractions in Ooty.
