Just looking at the pictures we decided to book hotel , Now as we entered we got a room with lots of smoke and dirty smell , Manager made us wait for 2 hours,We asked for water and they gave a dirty and opened mineral water bottle, Entire night we spent without AC and whenever asked threatened to checkout from hotel at midnight, Finally we checked out at 5 am in morning .

At any cost this hotel should be avoided and should never fall in trap .. 1000 rs hotels are better than these.

Room Tip: Avoid this hotel at any cost

Beautiful property & design like a palace.

Terrible service.
Very low maintenance.
Very less and untrained staff. Rude behaviour.
A.C doesn't work.
Bathtub gets flooded. Drainage system is faulty.
Towels and linen stinks badly.
Looks like a ghost place after 11 at night. They switch off all the lights after 11. You have to use torch light in night hours to move.
Poor quality of breakfast. One chef for live counter. You get your orders in at least 40 mins in breakfast.

Booked the hotel on website seeing the pictures . Beautiful piece of architecture as far as hotel building is concerned .
It is one of the worst hotel properties visited by me .
The rooms are in shambles , very poorly maintained .
The hotel services like airconditioning , hot water not working.
The swimming pool was as if it has not been cleaned for years .
The hotel did not have fully operational restaurant , they could not give us a proper lunch.
The staff was not interested to listen to any complaint or help in any way .
There was no hotel manger to put up any complaints or to resolve guest issues .
The hotel needs to revamp its operations totally , till then it is better to shut shop rather than making fool of guests .

We were a group of 6 friends who went on the weekend for a 1N/2D funfilled break to Orient Taj, Agra......from the time of check in to check out nothing was right .It was a huge property with the most ineffective Ac in the rooms, reception area & restaurant. The staff was very unprofessional & rude with very little understanding of how the customers problems could be solved, the pool was dirty & unhygienic, the Disco which is supposed to be operational on fri, sat & sun was shut, there were frequent power cuts and our whole idea of having fun in the pool was shattered. We were neither in a position to stay in the rooms due to the ineffective ac nor enjoy in the pool in the evening because of the dirty pool.It was a total waste of money ......could have spent a 1000 or 2 more & stayed in a better property & enjoyed. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

Hotel location is very good. Property is very well maintained. Green grass lawn with white horses is a charmer. Buffet breakfast is very good. Reception staff is very good. Room service is also good. Tajmahal is also very close.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms are having dampness

Overall terrible experience.

No security / Bags are left unattended / No scrutiny of humans or luggage

There is a shop at the entrance and the owner of the shop just pesters you and does not even let you check in. He will keep on talking on some pretext so that one will buy stuff only from his shop in Agra.

Check - In

Even though booking was made thru Agoda, they couldn't find the reservation for half hour. Finally they did "Eureka" but we were made to wait for half hour as room was not ready. Well it was 3;30 in the afternoon, way past check-in time. We checked if there was General Manager we could speak to and "Eureka" again, the hotel does not have a General Manager. The staff at the check-in counter was extremely unprofessional.

Finally we get our room and mind it, it is not what is shown in the pictures on the website. Run down furniture and the worst was the washroom.

We had some guests in our room and we wanted to offer them some water, we asked for two extra glasses and we were informed that NO they will not give us extra glasses in the room. It is against the policy of the hotel to give extra glasses or cups or even a spoon in the room. We also requested for a plate and again same answer. We wondered what happens to their policy when someone orders in room dinning? Well all our efforts went to waste, any amount of requests to housekeeping and F&B manager fell on deaf years. In fact we were told go and complaint to anyone you wish, we will not give you anything in the room. Awesome !!!

In a place like Agra where we have foreign nationals visiting the most, except for aloo poori, chole, idli and sambhar, there were only eggs and toast. Even a roadside eatery would offer more delicious and fresh food then was being served here. The staff was least bothered about clearing of the plates or relaying the tables. They were here and there and everywhere, but were not with the customers staying at this pathetic hotel.

Please don't go by the pics you see on the internet. There are better hotels in Agra who will serve you well. Waste of money if you are staying at this hotel.
