You go to Agra to see the Taj Mahal which is majestic in its own right. If you want to stay at a luxurious hotel, the ITC will not disappoint. The staff is superb. There is a nice rooftop vantage point of the Taj Mahal which I enjoyed on each day of my stay. The restaurant serves delicious food. I would highly recommend.

5☆ standards truly lacking at the ITC Agra. Firstly upon arrival the building looks tired and a mass of red bricks. There's noone really welcoming you, opening the car door etc which other 5☆ hotels in India do have. On our first day it took us ages to find our way around as there is noone much around to ask and no clear signage to pool etc. Found 1 pool but they didnt have enough sun loungers so people were sitting on the lawn. We discovered another pool but again lacking loungers. Neither pool had bar facilities. The pool areas look tired and the surrounding gardens aren't well kept. We stayed in a Royal Mughal suite but again room was dark, tired and mirror was full.of previous guests smudges! The suites have access to bar btw 6-8 but 1 of the 2nights we stayed it was dry day ie no alcohol served. I can go on abt little details but there are too many to mention. Overall didn't enjoy my stay and won't recommend.

Obviously we were in the hotel for a visit to Taj Mahal. We had booked 2 rooms . VERY SLOW check in. No drinks offered while we waited ! The hotel gave us an upgrade to a suite . Initially thought it was nice but the rooms are old .
No curtains in the bathroom for my teenagers , so they had to use our bathroom.
Lack of power points in convenient places for chargers and hairdryer. I couldn’t summon the energy to complain as it was only one night .
The restaurant was also slow and not very inspiring.
In all a mediocre experience, but we only stayed one night so didn’t use spa, pool or visit the deck with view of Taj. Mind you I didn’t know they had one as we were not told .
Check out was slow like check in .

Stayed here for one night as part of our group tour of India,s Golden Triangle. It's a nice modern hotel with rooms which are pleasantly appointed. We had three meals all of them were in the buffet restuarant, on two occasions at the breakfast/evening meals we had really slow service, not what I would expect to receive from a hotel in this chain. Firstly at our evening meal we were shown to our table, then waiter disappeared for over ten minutes, had to chase up another waiter to place our drinks order, who seemed disinterested but at least he took our order. It then took about another 5 minutes before the head waiter turned up with our drinks, but then proceeded to serve them in very brusque manner.
The same scenario happened at breakfast when ordering teas/coffee for a table of 4 people. The buffet food was good, but not outstanding and certainly not as much choice as the other hotels on our itinery.

Really nice hotel.Staff were so friendly and breakfast was first class.there was just so much to choose from. If I’m ever in Agra again that’s where I would be heading. It is lovely to get away from the hustle that is Agra
