Just amazing!!! The architecture is so impressive. It is really a must do in India. Go early morning, the light is awesome and it is a little bit less crowded.

went to the Taj mahal this morning, upon paying was greeted by
Akleem khan. tajimperialguide.com
he is a very good and knowledgeable guide no rush tour knows the best angles for pictures, and tells you all about the history of the taj. Very polite and pleasant man. No pressure at all to pay him just give him what you think. Made our tour very interesting and worthwhile,

Buy ticket @ East Gate, start lining up. Just 5.30 but the queue is long. Not many tout just a few guys offer to be guide and still polite.
The security check is something. Better not to bring anything just your phone and camera.
Inside is a good place for photo taking. Don't imagine you can have it all privately. People everywhere and they also want to take photo.
If you don't mind to take out a few rupee from your wallet better hire one of the so many photographer and let them work for you.
They know the best angle of every corner.
Inside the mausoleum is nothing and taking photo is prohibited.
Enjoy the lush greenery of the complex and thinking of how they build it at their time. amazing.

Truly a majestic structure. It is a MUST see in real life, as pictures don’t do it justice. It has become synonymous with India. Truly the jewel of India.
