My girlfriend and I stayed here for one night on route across Bali to Lombok. We had been travelling pretty much non stop for 2 days from Yogyakarta - Bromo - Denpasar and had an early morning and another full day ahead. This is why we chose to book a place that we felt we would definitely get some sleep and would be easy and clean!
This place is basically exactly as the website describes it, which is obviously a good thing!
We arrived late in the eve, we were quicky checked in, the room was clean, the bed very comfy and the shower was nice and warm!
This hotel is very modern and plastic, and not the place to stay for anyone looking for an authentic Balinese accommodation or anything cultural, but it is perfect if all you need is somewhere clean to lay your head!

We booked this hotel for 3 nights, but stayed just 1 night. The hotel itself is clean, basic, but it is located in the middle of the city. There is nothing to see for a tourist, the streets or so hectic, you risk an accident when you cross it. Around the hotel it's all local business, garages,... When we wanted to eat something in a good restaurant, they lead us to Jimbaran and other beach places. Downtown is where all the Indonesians live, but nothing to see for tourists. In the morning there was breakfast, but it's only Indonesian style. So we crossed the street ones for a local bakery. There is free internet and two computers available. We used them all night to find a new hotel in a better place and leaved this hotel early.

Room Tip: Ok hotel, but think twice of the location!

Our objective came to Bali is to enjoy the food and go to different place everyday, so we are not going to just stay at the hotel. We pick this Pop! Harris Hotel in Denpasar - Bali. We can say that the price is very cheap because we can get a satellite TV, and comfy room although the size is not big because this is budget hotel. Bed is very comfortable, the room size is bigger that Tune Hotel. Reservation is very easy but need to improve since is not 100% online. Location is good, not so far from Kuta, Nusa Dua, Ubud, etc. There is free internet and wifi which is very good and sometime helpful. The last but not least, this is a green hotel with solar power! Like it.

We recently stayed here for two nights while on a stopover in Bali on our way to Thailand. The first time we stayed we liked the place as it was clean, had a 24-hour reception desk and polite staff.

Unfortunately, I left my genuine DKNY watch under the pillow of the bed and only realised on the way to the airport. I immediately emailed the hotel letting them know that it was left behind and we would stay there on our way home from Thailand and collect it then. They emailed back to say that a watch had been found but not in the room we stated.

The weekend after on our way home to Australia we returned to the hotel - our room was not as clean as the first time which was disappointing. It took a few hours for the staff to find the watch and when we did get it we were given a fake DKNY watch which was only slightly slimilar to mine - I have had the watch for at least three years so would know.

Upon investigation my husband discovered that the room in which the watch was "found" was unoccupied at the time we were staying there so whoever found it had put the wrong room number on the "lost and found" form.

The staff on the front desk were helpful and appeared to believe us but as soon as we left we received an email from management saying that we were mistaken and they would never swap anything for a fake. Coming from a country where everything is a copy this is hard to believe.

So, we had a good first trip there but a not so good experience the second time. Not only due to the missing watch but also the uncleanliness of the room (benches not wiped properly so there were grime marks that looked like they had been there for a while).

Aside from that the staff are friendly and if you are after a cheap stay in Denpasar this is the place to go - just don't leave anything behind because you won't get it back again and if you do it won't be the real thing.

BAM! The bright colours hit you in the face when you come in... good first impression, after some boring grey hotels we´ve seen before. The hotel is huge, but luckily the young staff know how to give a personal touch. They seem like a big group of friends, hanging out during and after work and having a lot of fun... some people might find it hard to intrude this group of youngsters to ask a question or ask for a service, but I actually liked the atmosphere they created. Mind that not all of them speak English, so ask before haha.

The rooms were clean, and looked funny. The beds were soft and there was a nice flatscreen TV. The only thing I missed was a fridge and some place to put your suitcase... now I had to put it in a very awkward place, so I literally had to climb over it to get to the other side of the room. I liked the interior of the whole building.

One thing I really didn´t like: there's no laundry service at all! Very strange for such a big hotel. Also no place to do it yourself. Staff was mentioning a laundry service in the street, but that didn't exist any more, we searched for it 45 minutes in the heat and then gave up. As we are travelling for 9 months now, we need to do our laundry every week, and this is the first hotel without facilities. I did some hand washing in the sink, but the room is too small too let it dry... so I put it in the corridor for 1 night, and it was removed and given back to me in a plastic bac, all wet and smelling.
The breakfast was also too much for us... as an European I'm not used to eating more than cornflakes or toast in the morning, so rice with chicken and sambal is way too heavy! On the one hand, it's good to experience some local "tradition" that way, but on the other hand, an alternative would be nice.

Nevertheless, if you want to stay in Denpasar, I think this hotel is a good option.

I stayed there for a night during my business trip, and found this hotel for a value for money...
Room is clean and spacious, Bathroom a little bit awkward but clean.
Better give toast and jam for breakfast.

Cheerful staff - spotless, new-looking room - funkadelic venue and music playing in the corridors.
This hotel is very fun and a great price - at £10 a night we were staying in an excellent standard of accommodation - it is the sort of hotel room that you are so relieved by when you open the door - a big bed, nice and cleeeeeean and flatscreen tv, dressing mirror and succinct bathroom.

For us Denpasar was a bit of a let down - it is a very busy place indeed so what to say about the location? I suppose it depends what you are here for. I would say it works best as a luxury stopover before/after a flight.

Oh and did i mention the free internet?! Genius!

Book it now!
