Staying nearby at Villa Puri Purnama in Cucukan, we were recommended to a local warong and told they would pick us up.
We were greeted by the owner Kadek and his wife and were surprised to find a beautiful and welcoming restaurant with attentive and polite staff. The menu had an amazing selection of vegetarian and non vegetarian traditional meals, as well as wood fired pizzas.
We were a large family group of 10, with children and a baby. Every meal was loved by each person, so much so we booked in for a cooking class for 2 adults and two children.
The class with Kadek and his wife covered all our favourite meals like spring rolls, chilli sambal, pineapple sweet and sour sauce, nasi and mei goreng, Tempe manis, and finally banana fritters! Included also was tea, coffee and bottled water, and we sat down and ate our meals at the end. We learned so much and the two children enjoyed every minute. Can’t wait to get home and start cooking.
Great family business with service a top priority. You will not be disappointed.
They even deliver take away.
