Only good reason to go to this place is if you want to experience dinner at sunset sitting on the Beach.
Otherwise, the seats are thoughtlessly with slim metal legs which sink into the sand to give you that feeling of constantly tipping over.
Well its just a total "ambush" , its at the end of the beach your tired and your driver gets his commission here, so you just resign to the fact although the reviews warned but you thought there must be something good about this place, well its not the food.
Typical sets for 2 persons ranged IDR 650,000 onwards to 900,000. They have fixed servings by weight.
Its better to go for selecting your own seafood of which you have only 2choices for most, grilled or sweet sour. Except for Crabs which had chilli and egg etc.
However if your squid is cooked as whole its better as they weigh it in front of you and count the numbers which is entered on their note to the kitchen. Take note of the numbers and make sure they know you do it. Same goes for the prawns, you need to count.
Not being one trivial with a little lost here and there, didn't myself count and when the food came 1kg of squid cooked as rings turned out to be like 500gms?
Moral of the story is if your stuck at this kind of place its worth walking down the beach to the other restaurants who have the same seating and ambience but less crowded and suspect more reasonable.

The night we planned to go eat dinner at Jimbaran Bay we got caught up and missed the sunset, but I still really wanted to go because everyone said that this is the place to get the BEST seafood.

100% accurate! It was amazing! And sitting on the beach eating dinner, watching and listening to the waves crash was mesmorizing!

I would suggest to eat at the busiest restaurant that way you know that you are getting the freshest food because they would have the quickest turn around.

Food here was a little more expensive than the dinners we had been eating in Kuta Beach but like I said it was the best seafood I've every had!

An early morning walk along the beach will be ideal, away from the crowd still slumber after previous night of generous alcohol consumption and hangover mode. Savour the early sea breeze, and if the wing surge is reasonable, turquoise sea wave rolling gently. Heaven... Then, opt for sunset walk if you have fallen in love with the beach

The bay is very famous for tourist . Along the coast, there are a lot of star rated hotels. Including Four Seasons, Intercontinental, Le Meredien and so on. They are famous for the seafood night with some Balinese dance performance. Highly recommended ..

Dinner at the bay waiting for the sun to set and scenery was just amazing. People are just so friendly and hospitable.
