We stayed her for three nights in June and had a good time. We hadn't booked and I'm not sure how busy it gets but there were very few people staying there over the time we were there, and all of the other guests we saw were Indonesian. From asking around, it would seem that the Hotel is popular with Indonesian from Java. We had a 2nd floor room overlooking the pool, so any noise coming from the pool area did seem to be amplified a fair bit.
Interesting that the other review of this hotel said that they paid 275 000 per night. We ended op paying 450 000 per night and he would NOT budge on this price, even to the point of letting us leave....perhaps it was the time of year.
The rooms, though small are functional and very clean. Great bathroom, though not a lot of noise proofing between the toilet and the rest of the room:) The small (tiny!) balcony overlooks a really nice pool area.
Staff were friendly and tollerated me chatting away in my poor bahasa Indonesian.
Very well located smack bang in the middle of the shopping area and about a 3 min walk to the beach, through the art markets. We didn't eat at the hotel so I can't comment on the food. If you walk down to the beach, through the markets, there is a great collection of warungs on the right with plents of cheap options.
Even for 450 000rp (about $50 Australian at the time) it was well worth it. Obviously not a backpacker option, but at the end of our trip, it was a special place to stay.

This hotel is easy to miss as it has very little frontage (and hence sadly very little parking space for its patrons) but provides for a good value-for-money stay at Jalan Singosari - which is a major shopping street in Bali.
Rooms are small although clean and well maintained. Bathrooms are clean as well and came with a walk-in shower with no bathtubs (Standard Room). Balcony is quite cozy opening out to the central courtyard/pool although there is a bit of privacy lost owing to the closely spaced balconies. The general building flooring and plastering are meant to retain a heritage look for the whole hotel and this unfortunately may turn off people who might not like the stone surfaced parapets and floorings in the balcony and elsewhere.
The pool occupies much of the central courtyard and features a sunken bar. The breakfast - a below average one - is served near to the pool on some eye-pleasing wooden planks that double up as tables.
If one could stand the hotel's claustrophobic entrance/parking area and the average breakfasts, this place is indeed a hidden gem for budget travellers.
(IDR 275000/night/Walkin)

Room Tip: Rooms that don't face the courtyard/pool will definitely face some urban concrete jungle instead!
