My husband and I stayed here at the start of our honeymoon, and it was the perfect way to begin the trip with luxury and relaxation. We spent three nights but easily could have spent more time because of all the spaces and amenities offered. The number of different pools and lagoons is unbelievable! The resort is incredibly well designed, with beautiful paths to wander and many different spaces that feel surprisingly private for such a large resort. We never had to fight to find a lounge chair on the beach or by the lagoons, and there were many times we had a pool to ourselves! We stayed in a room with lagoon access, which we highly recommend. Having access to the beach as well makes this a perfect location. We caught the sunrise over the ocean and loved being able to wander down the beach in either direction (not to mention float in the surprisingly calm water). We also loved exploring all the restaurants and bars, each with their own style and character. We caught live performances with signature cocktails at De Bale, enjoyed beachside treats at Kulkul and lunch at the Sapphire Bar, stuffed our faces at the breakfast buffet and Indonesian dinner buffet at Banyubiru, and had an incredible chef’s tasting menu at Arwana, right next to the beach. All of the staff were so warm, welcoming, and helpful, making our stay a one-of-a-kind experience. We hope to come back someday!
