We stayed in Melia for 6 nights and had a lovely time. The gardens and water features are meticulous and the team, everyone from cleaning to waiters to gardeners, are always smiling and greeting us. Food was lovely and pretty much all the waiters and waitresses were super helpful and accommodating especially when it came to the needs of children. Although my little one had to be supervised on the kids club as was too young to be on own, she absolutely loved it in there and I was happy to go there to. Rooms were also nice, we stayed on the ground floor and was able to view the beautiful sand drawings each day. Hopefully get to go back one day

We found the Melia to be more than we expected as we booked a package through Luxury Escapes, having done one in Thailand, we were pleasantly surprised how well maintained the property was given its age. All the staff greeted you with a smile and good eye contact, even the garden staff. The restaurant was generally efficient and courteous. However coming from Australia the Satoria Rest/bar was ideal and we ate most of our meals there, which i must say were very good.

Room Tip: If staying ask for building no 4 , its the closest to the pool area and beach restaurant.

We just returned from 6 nights at the Melia which was very lovely. When we arrived we were upgraded to a lagoon access view room which was great. The room had a large bAthroom, big bedroom with another separate lounge area which leads out to the swimming pool. That was perfect for us with our baby. The pool was not very busy so was lovely to swim at any time of day.

The only thing I would say about the room is there is not too much shade outside even with the canopy. I would book this room again for sure.

The main pool area was really busy and we did find it hard to get a seat but this was probably due to it being Easter holidays. So very pleased we had the lagoon access room. There is a separate pool for adults only but you have to book ‘level 1’ access room. With this access you also get a separate beach area and free drinks and nibbles all day.

The beach was one of the nicer beaches I have seen with neighbouring beaches being great for surfing too. The tide goes out a long way here and stays out for quite some time. The beach is kept very clean with beach cleaners out all day.

The staff at the hotel were amazing and super friendly. If they walk past you they acknowledge you and say hello without fail and always have a smile of their face.

We had lunch at the beach restaurant a few times and the pizza was rather yummy. I have to say as the hotel was so busy breakfast was always super busy with people everywhere and the queue for the eggs station was so long.

Nusa Dua is a resort area so the hotels are very large and the area is very manicured! There is a small shopping area called Bali Collection which has lots of restaurants, shops and spas in and only a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

A great hotel for families and would highly recommend

The hotel is set amongst a large purpose built tourist resort and shopping mall, the gardens at the hotel are beautifully landscaped and well kept. Rooms are clean and functional with a balcony or patio. There is plenty to do and the hotel staff are very friendly and try very hard to please. Breakfast is varied catering for Chinese, Japanese and Europeans with a special section for children. Please though go visit the real Bali, we hired a taxi for $60 US dollars for the day and was taken on a lovely 10 hour tour of the island.
