This is a beautiful hotel, the photographs do not do it justice. It has a fantastic lobby and beautifully maintained grounds. It is somewhat tired in places but is spotlessly clean.
The bathrooms could do with upgrading. The large pool is great but warm and our kids loved it. The staff in general were very helpful and certainly responded to basic courtesy. The food service around the pool was lacking, though the food itself was fine. Unfortunately the rudness of certain groups of guests is beyond belief! (? Russian). This has been mentioned in previous reviews. We found it embarassing. It is this fact alone that would deter us from booking again. The hotel and the staff do not deserve to get a negative review, the guests do!

If you like a nice beach, this resort certainly meet your needs. I love the exclusiveness of the resort and away from the crowd. However, the facilities are a bit old and quality of food can be further improved. Overall, I had a wonderful experience just chilling at poolside and the beach.

Everything was great. Staff is very friendly. Territory is really nice. Rooms are clean. Breakfast is great! The only minus is that pools are closed at 21.00, it is very hot and to cool down in the pool can be great. It is really overcome the expectations. And the price is adequate. Best price for such level of service.

The hotel looks beautiful starting with the entrance, it gives you the impression of a hindu temple.
The rooms (delux) are very nice with a lot of space, and beatuful view over the pool and garden.
The breakfast is excellent.
The swiming pool ( the one next to the beach) is awsome.
The services are good, the only problem we had was at the end of our stay when they (probbably by fault) doubled one of our dinner bill. Any way we didn't receive any apologise from sombody. But this was a so small issue comparing with all other good things that we benefit over there.

located on its own beach at nusa dua with other major hotels such as the hyatt and marriott within walking distance.
2 nice pools, 24 hour restaurant plus another 4 at least.
big rooms and live entertainment every night.
bali collection, a large shopping area with lots of live music and good restaurants is 5 minutes away with a free shuttle service.
the nusa dua village is a very short walk away with plenty of shopping and great value restaurants.
only complaint was that most staff are slow to help and lack training.

Room Tip: request ground floor garden view room

Stayed couple nights during travel round Bali. Since arrival missed the typical friendliness (and smile) that was standard in previous place (Pekutatan). This hotel is too commercial which is incompatible with the spirit of Bali. Otherwise, all services and the beach were on professional level. The view of lagoon inside provides good atmosphere while eating in one of restaurants. The breakfast were very tasty and alternated different local cuisines every day. For dinner it is better to go to nearby Bali-Collection mall where the selection is much better. This hotel is ideal place for events organizing rather than recognizing culture of Bali. During my stay also faced with crowds of families coming from China that unfortunately enforced the commercial character of this hotel.

My bf & I stayed for the weekend for his best friend's wedding. The hotel is kinda old but it's such a massive campus with beautiful ponds, pool and beachfront.
The wedding went great. It was a beautiful set up n the food was excellent. Only the wedding organizer seemed to lost her role here. And I heard the staff made a cynical comment about our group just because we drank alot which we paid! I found that very rude as we didn't make a scene or case!
The pool at the beach area was awesome, that is the best part of it. You can enjoy relaxing by the pool or in the pool all day without getting sunburned!
Then we all decided to have dinner together at Lagoona Restaurant by the beach as we heard the surf and turf was excellent! But it turned out to be such a big disappointment for everyone. For a luxurious resort like ayodya we expected they have an excellent service. None of the staff asked any of us how we wanted the steak to be done, they assumed everyone wanted it well-done! Shocking! The squid was as hard as rubber! The crab tasted ok but such a small piece of crab not worth the effort and time to eat it, prawn was blend. Nobody seemed to pay attention on the guests, we had to wave like crazy most of the time to get them to notice. They have so many range of food in the menu but none was available! What's the point of having a list of menu then????
Then the payment got a bit messy as they were confused themselves.

When my bf and I checked out, we weren't impressed with the officer. He didn't speak clearly and seemed to confused all the time and didn't put attention on what we were saying and kept asking us the same question 3x! It wasn't busy at all and it was only us who checked out that morning! It was at 9.30 am on Monday!

Overall we werent impressed at all with the service! And it's very expensive the price we paid considering to that issue.
Not sure I would consider in coming back.
