The resort is indeed luxurious, beautifully built, clean with high service standards. On our first night, the floor was covered with condensation and the staff was very apologetic and quickly moved into action to dry up the floor. The duty manager made a concerted effort to check on the floor condition for the next 2 days and was willing to change rooms if things did not improve. In all, if you want luxury and are willing to pay, Mulia is the place to be.
However, the hotel is not within walking distance of restaurants (other than the Nusa Dua Beach Grill) and you would have to take a 5-10min taxi or Grab ride if you wish to eat at Bali Collection. But you do not mind paying for the food in the hotel, the quality is very good but expensive.
The sand is quite rough and rocky, unlike those fine ones in the Thai resorts. However the views are lovely with sounds of roaring waves throughout the day.More
