I've stayed in a lot of hotels over the years and I probably had the highest expectations for Mulia Resort, considering their string of awards. Fortunately I wasn't let down.
This is a massive resort, so expect to get fit walking around. And that's probably good since the food at The Cafe, Table8, and Soleil is amongst the best in Bali. I can't believe how much I stuffed my face for the Sunday Brunch at Soleil - be warned, the buffet is too delicious to resist. There's plenty of pool lounges and I was never without. The staff were super friendly and the rooms were immaculate. The only thing I wanted to improve was a wider in-room safe (to make it easier to store a laptop, even though it just fit in), and an included music player in the room, so I could play my favourite tunes. Pretty minor in the bigger scheme of things. I'd definitely recommend this resort for a once-in-a-lifetime luxury experience.More
