Nita and Jankie were great hosts. Daisy the housekeeper was also good at cleaning the villa.
The villa is 300m from Danau Poso and around 1.5klm from the beach but there are 2 push bikes supplied or you would need a scooter. Taxis have trouble finding the place as there is no villa Suka sign, just the number only.
The villa is nicely designed and the pool fantastic, perfect size and very warm water as it gets full sun til around 3:30 so bring ur sun tan lotion.
Tv was bit disappointing as no Australia, BBC or CNN but some good movie channels.
The kitchen is ok but basic, no cook oil, no salt n pepper, no bread knife, no mixing bowls no microwave bowls etc and crockery is melamine not China. The hot/cold water dispenser did not work so just room temp water, however there was a kettle on the stovetop. The dish wash scoured was well used so I bought my own a new one should be supplied for each time the villa is rented, no t towel supplied.
The bed was very good and comfy, the shower pressure was great and the hotwater the best. Note.. the safe could not be used as the key was apparently lost and the safe was locked but also you can just pick up the safe and walk off with it as it was not bolted down, so beware. Also no CCTV so being in a isolated location if someone broke in there would be no evidence who it would be and I think this is very important. I also found on occassions the cleaner had left some doors unlocked.
Overall has potential to be a great villa, but let down by little things and for the money you can do better.
Would I stay again? Probably not unless all the things mentioned were corrected.
Found this villa after the villa we had booked (1 month stay)and moved into had issues that forced us to move out after 4 days.
Suka 3 was a nice little surprise, it is a modern fairly new villa down a quiet gang just off Jl Danau Poso.
When we first moved in I was a bit hesitant at the location but after the first day I found it was an easy walk to our favourite haunts and about a 10 min walk down to the beach. And if we were feeling lazy it was easy to jump in a bemo or taxi for $1-2 depending where we wanted to go.
And Even though it only had two bedrooms, they were big enough for a cot for my 9 month old granddaughter, and my 4 year old grandson shared a bed with me. Also plenty of closet space.
The beds were king size, with a great mattress. So we had a good night sleep every night. The bedrooms must of had some kind of soundproofing as once in bed with door closed could barely hear anything from the other rooms.
Each bedroom had an ensuite which were sparkling clean with the hottest hot water I have had in bali.
All rooms air condition plus ceiling fans.
Desi, who looked after the villas cleaning etc was great. The villa was always spotless after she had been.
Had a good size pool, with a small grassed area.
We had a small party with about 20-25 people and we had more than enough room.
The only negative we found and it is only a small one was that there was no toilet beside the ones in each ensuite.
So if you had visitors over they had to go through the bedroom to use the toilet.
But as I said only a very minor negative and it wouldn't stop us from staying there again.
Nita, the manager, was helpful with anything we needed and always responded promptly
Would not hesitate to recommend Suka 3 to anyone wanting a great villa, in a quiet location for a great price
