This is an absolute find! Small, (dozen or so) units surrounding the pool and breakfast area. Not high end, but very Bali, with decor and feel. Our room was spacious with a high ceiling, and a large though basic bathroom.
Very clean, and cared for, which is not usual for low budget places in Bali. At the beach end of the street, tucked between larger resorts, a small temple and beach access. There are several beach situated restaurants close by, as well as the local sarong/ souvenir shops, massage and nail painting.
A short walk into the town takes you up to a good choice of restaurants.
The back gate takes you into the Beach cafe, which is either a good or a bad thing, depending on how you would spend your time.
It's advisable to get a room that doesn't back onto this, as it can be noisy, especially if a game is playing, or a band is on.
Also, next to this is a dive center, so early mornings bring a clanging of scuba tanks as they get loaded up to do dives. It's not so loud, but better to get a room on the other side, backing onto the temple.More
