As a lone middle aged lady tourist, I asked the reception if I could sit by the pool and buy a meal in the restaurant for 4 hours during the evening while I was waiting to go to the airport (had travelled down to Sanur from Amed).

Great hotel had a wonderful stay at Respati Beach Hotel. Accommodation was a Deluxe Bungalow which was very spacious clean & comfortable room. Breakfast was very good plenty to choose from & service terrific. The staff were always smiling very friendly and nothing was a problem when asked for something. The grounds were just beautiful & well maintained. The pool a little bit on the small size but always clean but with the hotel in a fantastic position right on the beach which was beautiful & lots of sun lounges only criticism is the umbrellas don’t rotate when needing to get out of the sun! The hotel was on the boardwalk with plenty of restaurants around also markets but never harassed by the girls & the entrance was on the Main Street of Sanur for shopping & more restaurants & pubs. Overall Respati Beach hotel in Sanur is a great hotel to stay $ would definitely stay again & recommend to family & friends.

Room Tip: Bungalows very spacious & positioned a little away from the hotel type rooms therefore much quieter.

Booked 4 nights here at the end of a 5 week stay in Bali. Paying 5.2 million we thought we would be treating ourselves for our last few nights. How wrong we were ☹️

It started as soon as we arrived. They checked us in to a twin after having booked a double. The twin room smelt mouldy and damp and we were straight back to reception to change rooms.

The next room there was no damp smell and we were happy enough to be in the room we booked. After stay our first night we had started to notice more problems.

The air con didn’t work properly the tv has maybe 5 channels in English that are viewable and the bathroom was really dirty. On top of that the bath would fill up with water whilst taking a shower and all kinds of filth would come out the up drain (the drain was eventually cleared by an ‘engineer’)

After the problem with drain we had asked if it would be possible to make abit of effort cleaning the bathroom the next day. Of course this never happened.

The rooms here are all in need of a deep clean, marks on the walls dirt or mold in most corners. But the bathrooms are the worst part.

The staff here are usually on there phones and the night shift tend not to notice when you walk past them at night.

The only nice thing here is the gardens and the fact it’s on the beach front.

We have been so disappointed here and wouldn’t like any one else to go through the same. Out all the places we have stayed in Bali this has been by far the worst .

A shaky start to our stay as we arrived at 1am to the hotel and were told hotel was full and there was no booking. Wrong on both accounts as there was a booking and hotel was not full. After much debate and discussion we were finally reluctantly given a room...not a good beginning. However in the morning after speaking to the very nice reception staff we were moved to a deluxe room closer to pool and beach. From here on it was all good. The accomodation is adequate..beds are comfortable, rooms spacious and clean. Bathrooms are fine just old tap fittings and old baths. The hairdryer are the old box ones attached to the wall but work fine. The gardens are delightful! Manicured and well kept. The exterior of the buildings are well maintained. The dining area is quite small but comfortable. Breakfast is ok...some days it’s buffet if there are lots of guests otherwise it’s a menu. It’s has its own beach front which is lovely and a small pool area. The hotel is close to everything and for us a great little escape place for 5nights. Would recommend..it’s a 3 star sort of place.
Staff are helpful and polite. We enjoyed our

We had another stay here and we weren’t disappointed. Other reviewers had been concerned at noise from the new bar next door. Well, we weren’t bothered at all.
Our room was clean and quiet and the bed very comfortable.
The staff are lovely too.
Buffet breakfast was basic but on our last morning a la carte breakfast was offered which was much better and I had a huge very fluffy and delicious pancake.
There were plenty of lounges either around the pool or on the beach.
My husband was impressed with the on site massages next to the pool.
I thought this hotel was good value for money.
