A bit like sitting in a family's dining room, this little place that seats about 16, was a great find. We were warmly welcomed by Ibu Putu, whose passion this warung clearly is. It's a small but well- chosen menu. I'm sure there cooks were locovores long before it became a concept. The food was prepared and presented rustically, mostly by Putu, all with a local flavour. She, her husband and family members all did a great job working front of house. Putu's vegetables with tempeh in special sauce was mildly spiced and perfectly sized. The mee goreng with pork was zinging with just the right amount of spice and was a good portion. To finish off, we couldn't go past Putu's recommendation of pisang goreng and we weren't disappointed. If you're after good, honest, local food, give this place a go.
