We stayed in in the largest of the three villas. Really nice setting and layout.
But the place needs improvement.
We have the same breakfast for nine days.
At night you hear birds inside the villa flapping their wings, creatures perhaps mice since it's in the middle of the rice field crawling around, and there's lizard droppings everywhere.
The linens are not super white. Front desk is only open from 7 am to 10pm.
The staff are super nice but the owners need to fork out the money to improve the place, service and amenities.
The walkway to get to the villa needs fixing. They need signage outside so guest will not get lost finding the place.

This was one of the most incredible spots we have ever stayed in. The grounds were beautiful and the staff was friendly an attentive. The villa (rice barn) was very comfortable and spacious.
Please note -- yes it is hard to find BUT the staff at the hotel will text you and email you the phone number. You then give the number to your driver and have your driver call the hotel when you are close. If you don't follow these instructions which are simple you will be lost. And if that is the case this is not the villa's fault as they are there to help you. Our driver called and 3 staff members were out front to ascot us in.
Also note the person that did the review that said there is no pool must have done a review on the wrong hotel. This villa has a pool and one of the most beautiful pools I have ever been in.

If you're staying in Ubud you should not miss this lovely place. We spent 13 wonderful nights in the traditional 2-bedroom rice barn. All wood and bamboo, two levels (ideal for families) a big bathroom and separate toilet. The verandah looked over rice fields and a pond where fireflies danced at night. There are three very different properties to choose from - we loved ours but the two-bedroom bungalow looked luxurious and well appointed. There is also a one-bedroom round bungalow. But best of all are the warm and friendly staff. They couldn't do enough for us, from arranging trips, ordering drinks and taxis and generally looking after us with a smile. It was our daughter's birthday while there and they arranged a beautiful birthday cake and flowers and decorated the barn with balloons. Filling breakfasts are served in the large reception barn and a new swimming pool has been added this year - clean, warm and attractive. You reach the properties via a narrow alley from the busy street but inside is an oasis of calm and greenery. It is a bit of a walk to the main town centre (about 15 mionutes) but we felt that this was an advantage to get away from the busy roads. Even if you don't want to walk, a taxi should cost you no more than £2.50. This place is an utter delight and if we return to Ubud there is nowhere else we would rather stay. Give it a try and you won't be disappoointed

Room Tip: Choose the rice barn if you want a flavour of the real Bali. Opt for the two-bedroom bungalow if you want something a little more luxurious.

I am sorry that I have this comment ! I visited Bali 5 times and have ever stayed many hotels.Enjoy comfortable, relax and friendly every where! But this time in "Ubud hidden villa" that strong server was impetuous, rude and perfunctory. My families and I felt very very uncomfortable during lived here. And can not believe such price there is'nt swimming pool.

Although we only stayed 1 night, but I'm still thinking about the room because it was too comfortable. I very satisfied with the service of the staff because all of them were so friendly . The room was also spacious and there are even Jacuzzi in the bathroom so we enjoyed ourselves in the first day of Bali trip. The villa also provided free shuttle service, the staff transferred us to a restaurant nearby and also transferred us back.Besides the breakfast was also very delicious and I felt not enough about that.We ate fried rice and fried noodles for breakfast and all of us were very satisfied. As a conclusion, this Villa is very suitable for the tourist who want to relax because there was very quiet.
