“Little piece of heaven in Ubud”
Reviewed June 18, 2016 for a stay in June 2016

This villa is very luxurious and well appointed with high quality fittings and attention to detail. Property has three seperate, self contained bedrooms. As the Mitch and dining room are at the bottom of the property, which is on a slope, a refrigerator has been put in each bedroom for convenience. They have all the little things covered including a selection of travel guides and books in a variety of languages for guest use. The property overlooks a gully and is peaceful. It is a short walk to Ubud shops and restaurants. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is included each day, with a choice of menus, I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious breakfast, cooked fresh and on time each day. The property is very well maintained and dean. I highly recommend this villa.

“Great Location for Access to All That Ubud Offers”
Reviewed June 6, 2016 for a stay in May 2016

The location of this villa is perfect. It is very centrally located. We could walk out and explore the city on our own very easily, yet the villa had a very private feel so when we returned, it was not like we were in a busy city at all. The rooms all were great! They are all separate, with an outdoor common area for meals and lounging by the pool.

Pasek, who is the caretaker of the villa, was the best! We stayed at 3 other villas during our trip, and he was by far the most helpful. He was there to great us often, and helped organize any excursions we needed for the day. He organized our Mt. Batur hiking trip, massages at the villa, and visits to the spa.

There are roosters, like other reviews mention. But I believe they will make noise at any villa you stay around Ubud. When I started to hear them, I put in earplugs and I was fine. Also, be sure to bring some bug spray. This villa is set amongst a backdrop of trees, which is beautiful and private, but with that comes mosquitoes. One of us brought a large bottle of all-natural bug repellant they made from essential oils and it worked great. Also, Pasek lights coils around the villa to repel them and that worked great as well.

Also, before we even stayed at the villa, Paul, the owner, was great at answering our questions and keeping us informed. He also was very helpful in arranging transportation from the airport for us. He was very patient with all my questions and concerns.

We were a group of 7 ladies in our 30s, and this villa was great for us!

“Beautiful Villa, Outstanding Service”
Reviewed March 14, 2016 for a stay in March 2016

I have just arrived back in Australia this morning and had to right a review for this villa because I was so impressed, and my husband, children and myself could not stop thinking and talking about it for the rest of our holiday.
From the beginning it was faultless. Paul responded to emails within hours, and organised a driver Made to pick us up from the airport. Made was such a happy soul and good driver, so we continued to use him for a day trip and leaving Ubud.
The Villa was stunning with three separate bedroom buildings, each with their own bathrooms, so my children, husband and myself had our own areas to relax if needed, though we spent each day together by the pool. The grounds and pool where stunning, and we were not bothered by the roosters it's Bali and they are all over the Island. We walked around Ubud quite easily from the location.
The one thing that really stood out to us was caretaker Pasek. He was outstanding. Such a trustworthy, beautiful person, words cannot describe enough. He had the villa looking immaculate at all the times, and cooked wonderful breakfasts each morning. He will organise everything for you. This was my first time to Bali and I felt completely relaxed with his decisions, though I did not feel the same in other villas where I stayed on this trip. My whole family will definitely stay here again.

“Lovely location away from traffic but close to main road of Ubud”
Reviewed January 1, 2016 for a stay in December 2015

Beautifully decorated with lovely views into the valley. Private and safe fully fenced compound. Three different bedrooms each under a separate roof with own bathrooms with shared living area. We enjoyed our time here with Pasek and others keeping the place immaculately clean and tidy. After a week the local rosters drove us a bit mad in the early hours but it is the price you pay for such a setting. Walking distance to main road of Ubud, chemist, small supermarket and money changers just around the corner. The pool was lovely but will be in need of resurfacing in the near future. The property contains a lot of stairs which my mother (nearly 70 years old) struggled with by the end but considering that it is in the mountains and has valley view it is not surprising.

“Tranquility and Great Location ”
Reviewed October 31, 2015 for a stay in October 2015

We stayed here end of October and we loved the beautiful pool and tranquil valley setting. The accommodation is perfect for a group of friends, or one family. We were looked after by Pasek who did a fabulous job booking in restaurants and excursions, and cooking our breakfast each morning. Short walk into the main town area, with everything close by. The pool was magnificent and easy to get in and out. Would highly recommend. The owner is quick to email. Will definitely stay again, and the whole group loved it. Thanks for your hospitality

“Most Wonderful Stay in Ubud”
Reviewed August 18, 2015 for a stay in July 2015

This is definitely the best way to explore Ubud! The Villa is literally on the corner of the main street.

The vila itself is really gorgeous, and gives you the possibility to relax to the fullest, even though it is located in a busy city. The rooms are big and really beautiful, and everything was super clean thanks to Pasek.

Pasek, who really is a lovely person, was a big help to us. He was honest about trips and recommended the best things that Bali has to offer. He set up all the trips for us, fulfilling our needs. The taxi drivers were also really nice and honest people. In the end this was probably the cheapest way (but also maximum comfort) to explore Bali. He also made us super delicious breakfast every morning, and made us laugh everyday.

We always felt really safe and at ease thanks to Pasek!

“Spacious tranquil villa near the centre of Ubud.”

Our first time in Ubud and we wanted something close to the centre so we could walk, but a bit tranquil as well. We had a fantastic time - couldn't have wished for a better place, and Pasek was a wonderful help throughout our stay. He organised everything we needed and he cooked superbly and kept the villa in immaculate condition. As the other revues say, it's spacious and well kept, with good wifi, groovy outdoor showers and lots of steps. Our teens had their own rooms, aircon worked really well, and we all felt very secure & relaxed.
Best nearby food:
Fair Warung Bale, a few streets up on the same side of the main rd. (ignore the pretentious Hujan Locale across the road),
Casa Luna, (main rd. past the market) old world charm & a cool break from the busy lunchtime city bustle, with great lunch menu.
Blackbeach, an Italian place that did the best Mie Goreng i've tasted, and does a great coffee.

Don't think twice, just book it and have a great holiday !
