Beauty nature in there. The monkeys are used to see people so they wont bother you. Remember to buy some bananas to give them and take a photo. Do not bring glasses and others stuffs. They can take away. You will see monkey mothers with babies ..so cutes. Do not run or scream. Nice place to visit with kids.

We went at 08:30 so nice and cool and not many people yet, the monkeys were just fed so that gives some nice pictures. If you do what is says on the signs (eg. Dont look them in the eyes and dont try to touch them) you are pretty ok and nothing will happen. There are some people however.....and then them monkey can be annoying or aggresive. The forest is beautiful and nice to strawl around even when there would be any monkeys. All in all worth the visit!

Lovely park, be careful of the monkeys though as they like to steal drink bottles from you, they are very cute though especially the babies

The Monkey Forest is an interesting way to spend a couple of hours. Lots of monkeys and interesting temples. Beware though the monkeys are not afraid of humans and will definitely approach you. Follow the guidelines carefully and don't take any valuables with you that you aren't ok with losing. I only personally saw them grabbing water bottles from people but understand that they also like anything bright and shiny such as sunglasses, cameras and phones.

We had a lot of fun here. It was interesting to see all the monkeys doing their thing. One of our party got bit, and got a tetanus shot once we got home a few days later. We visited the clinic at the monkey forest right after and got him cleaned up. The monkey wasn't overly aggressive, we just accidentally startled mama monkey. Just be sure to read the rules and follow the instructions closely and you will be fine. Very beautiful location, lots of great photo ops.
