Was supposed to stay as sister hotel but they had overbooked (not a great start) however the rooms we got was an upgrade and huge. Amazing grounds and for the price was incredible. About a 10 minute walk to monkey kingdom, city centre roads, etc. Pool was amazing as well.

Room Tip: Villas are great but any room will do as most are the same standard

We went there for our holiday but prefer to call it honeymoon yet again. Warm welcomes from the owner and staff, even though we checked in at 2am in the morning. The place is perfect for gateway especially the villa with valley view. We stayed in our room most time and dipped in the infinity pool in between. We highly recommend this place for honeymoon or those who wants some quiet times.

We booked this hotel in Dec 2016 for 5 night Villa stay. Was advised the night before we arrived that there was difficulties with their booking system and we were down graded to a Superior room for 2 nights. Room smelt of mould. Paint was peeling off walls. Bathroom fillings were loose. Basin and shower leaked heavily on the floor. Grey towels. Had to kill a large spider in the middle of the night and found it swept behind the door after the room was cleaned. Asked for the taps to be fixed. Not done. Moved to our villa accommodation. Again shower and basin taps were loose and hanging from their position. Shower leaked over the floor again! On arrival to this room we noticed the toilet was blocked. Asked for it to be fixed in the morning on our way out for a tour. Came back and it was not done. Had to use the toilet in the lobby several times. Asked for toilet to be fixed a 2nd time and after a couple of hours it finally was.
No doubt the hotel is in a beautiful setting. 2 infinity pools look beautiful but mould covers sections on the bottom. The restaurant and its staff were wonderful - enjoyed!!
But when we went to check out - we were told that we had to pay for 5 nights at the Villa price. After half an hour of trying to reason with the lobby staff we knew that we were not getting anywhere. So we paid up and left!!!! Very disappointed in this hotel. Not what it appears to be on Trip Advisor

We stayed in low season last year so we were able to get a good deal at the hotel.
(+)Pool: the typical jungle view infinity pool you can find in most of the hotels in Ubud.
(+) Rooms were clean and spacious.
(+) Restaurant was really good and cheap as well

Highly recommended and walking distance from downtown

Staied there for 2 nights (we booked a Valley Suite - promotion on Agoda website for 35€/night, breakfast included).

LIKE:
- We got a free Upgrade to a One Bedroom Villa facing the Pool!
- The room was huge with air-conditioner, wi-fi, fridge and TV (just like the pictures in the website).
- Staff was nice and friendly! They took our luggage to the room (several steps).
- Wi-fi worked fine!
- Peaceful and quiet at night! Nice to rest and relax in the balcony (taking a drink and enjoying the view).
- It is about 10-15min walking to the main road.
- Breakfast was ok!
- Two amazing infinity pools with stunning views to the jungle! They are facing the same side, however one is in a higher position.
- Free Yoga classes for Guests (3 times per week).
- Really cheap! Staied in other (more expensive) Hotels in Bali and this was the best in quality/price!

Recommend this Hotel!

Room Tip: Choose a room with Jungle view and balcony!

Tucked off the beaten path and down a quiet track, Pertiwi Bisma is only a short walk from Ubud town centre in one direction and the Monkey Forest in the other. Not only is it perfectly situated but it's rooms and grounds are fantastic too. Our room was beautifully clean and well equipped and best of all it had a bath tub with a never ending supply of hot water! The 2 infinity pools were stunning and great places to relax and soak up the surroundings. The staff were both friendly and helpful and the food in the restaurant was tasty. I would thoroughlly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to explore Ubud from a peaceful base. It was perfect for us.
