We wanted a quiet, relaxing place for our Honeymoon and found it in Tejaprana Spa and Resort Ubud. We found it on TripAdvisor and it lived up to its reputation. Amazing views over the jungle, including all the wonderful sounds and sights of butterflies, birds and lizards, an infinity pool at our doorstep, a wonderful restaurant and relaxing main pool. The design was by an award winning Bali architect and really works for the location. The staff are friendly and can't do enough for you. We would love to come and stay here again. There is even a yoga hut which used for Tai Chi.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for 10 days and had a wonderful time. It's on a busy street but you would have no idea; it's very calm and quiet. The staff is incredible; every person we interacted with was very kind and accommodating. The yoga instructor was also amazing. Just very good people. The rooms are clean and gorgeous; this was probably was on the nicest places I've ever stayed. The food was also wonderful. Should I come back to Bali I would likely stay here again.

My only suggestion would be for more shuttle times; maybe every two hours vs three?

I miss this resort! We stayed in the valley view room for 3 nights and had great views of the jungle and colourful butterflies from the pool. The breakfast was great, we loved all the Indonesian choices, fruit platters and the buckwheat pancakes.

The staff, especially the drivers, were so friendly, recommending us things to do and places to visit. One asked us if we had any issues with our room and the only thing for us being from a city was that there are so many bugs outside and they sometimes come through the outside bathroom door gaps, which is understandable since it's in the jungle. He organised a bug spraying for us that night so we could have less bugs in the pool area the next day. We had no issues with mosquitos while we were in the resort but they provide repellant at the restaurant tables anyway.

We stayed in his little piece of luxury in October 2017. To sum up our holiday in one word would be “bliss”.

We stayed in a river view villa. It was lovely and looks just like the photos you see online. There is a king size bed which is very comfortable, with some pillow selections too.
The room itself is very clean and tidy with great toiletries available (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, ear buds, toothbrush etc - all great quality)

The staff are extremely friendly, always happy to see you and greet you with a smile. They’re also happy to cater to any needs. They are all very respectful and we’re a highlight of our holiday.

The hotel is about 4kms out of Ubud; to compensate, the hotel provides with free drop off and picks ups at designated times throughout the day and night. This was really helpful for us.

The food was good with options for 24hr room service and breakfast that can be delivered in your villa at no extra cost.

The villa pool is not heated, this is probably the smallest downside to it all, but it’s not a big issue.

Many others on here have commented on bugs; but we didn’t have any issue. The hotel provides daily mosquito coils that they light outside. We stayed here for a week and had no troubles with bugs, mosquitoes etc.

The hotel offers extra activities like hiking, bike riding, cooking class, yoga class etc - some free of charge and some for a small fee (around $35AU).

The BEST part of this hotel is the sensational views and the overall relaxed vibe. If you are looking for somewhere just to unwind, this is the place for you. It really is like nothing I’ve ever stayed in at Bali before. I would definitely return.

Thank you to all the staff. We look forward to seeing you again in the future.

Beautiful hotel in the heart of the Ubud jungle. Every room has a stunning infinity pool, which results in the main pool not being busy since everyone is enjoying their private one. The restaurant is amazing - the food delicious, they have a wide variety of items on their menu that will suit any palette or dietary restriction, and the service is fantastic. While the location is not in the heart of central ubud, there is a shuttle that takes you in town, or the staff will help you arrange a driver or taxi for the 10 min drive. Highly recommend!!
