This monument is very iconic, you should go to this monument when you visit Malang. Even you can't see very much, you can sit down and relax in the park, just sightseeing.

It's hard to miss this the city hall since it is such an iconic building and more or less marks the centre of the city. If you are like we were interested in Malang's Dutch past this building is a must-see.

When you visit Malang, you have to come here. At least take a picture or just enjoy the ambience here on the bench. The perfect time to come here is in the morning around 5.30 or 6 am, so you can see sunrise (if the sky is clear) and around 4 pm. If you are instagram lovers, you can also take a good shoot here.

There isn't much to see. When you get out of the train station and walk a couple of meters you'll see it. The plastic flowers are cute and the waterlillys are beautiful.

The momument is just an obelisk.

Small park set in central Malang in the middle of a traffic circle directly across from city hall and the Tugu Hotel. Good spot to stretch your legs and just sit for abit. Just be careful crossing the street, especially at night. Sometimes there's a number of snack vendors in and around the park too if you need a snack or drink. Nice green space to stroll in for a few minutes then continue onto the next stop. At night, it's interesting seeing the large, fake flowers lit up.
