A park with a lot of activities especially on Sunday morning also along Jalan Raya Darmo for it used to be a car free day on every Sunday morning...

Small park by European standards though possibly Surabayas only public park. Very shady play area though the equipment is badly maintained. Spotless toilets. Seating arranged so that two people can't sit side by side. Mosque and street food in the centre.

**Be careful coming to and leaving the park at night, a number of sexual assualts have happened with motorcyclists hanging out near the park at night getting in the way of young women and girls and molesting them.
The park has some food stalls, a place for Muslim prayer, and a play are and fountain for children. It is about the size of one city block. The road adjacent to the park is a parking lot for office workers in the nearby office tower. There are several banks, fast food chains, dessert and drink kiosks about a 5 minute walk from this park that was made to provide a place for the common people to relax and enjoy life. The city government often sponsors events here in the evening or on Sundays. In these cases the park will become so packed with people there is often no place to stand. If you are going for a short trip with children, it is nice in the day time while the temps are cool in the morning. The park empties towards noon and the afternoon as temps soar and very safe until the evening. The police near the park are more to control the traffic and shouldn't be counted on for help as there are sometimes fights between different parking groups and motorcycle groups in and around the park at night.

A small park located around city centre. I ran across the park in the morning. It's a small one. The center stage can be used for various activities. I saw a group of elderly doing some sort of Tai Chi,, There's also a skate park.
