The Crusader Fortress is so interesting. It is presented really well with light displays and sound reenactments. I highly recommend the audio tour that is available in all languages. I really enjoyed this historic venue. If there is any negative it would be that it isn't all that easy to follow the numeric system on the self-guided tour, but that didn't really bother us too much. When you are done here go eat at one of the amazing seafood restaurants on the water in Acre, it's spectacular!

Lots to see here but it doesn't take that long to wander through the site and displays. Certainly if in Acre I'd recommend a visit. Well presented and interesting

It is amazing to see how well preserved is the fortress and also to know about the history that happened there. Greeks, Jewish, crusades... all those groups have a history in Akko.although the main reference during the visit relies on the Crusades period.

If you are in AKKO you will appreciate this place. So much history and the preserved ruins are incredible. An old latrine room? Seriously, you need to see.
Monks lived here and cared for crusaders in need.

We were fortunate to visit the Crusader Castle with Dina Horn from Enjoy Israel Tours. Dina's knowledge enabled us to really explore the castle and marvel at the brilliance of its architecture. This is an amazing world heritage site and a testament to the skill of the masons of the time. It really is a 'must see'.
