We did the free walking tour that starts at the Watch Tower at 11 am everyday .Very good guide and good presentation. We liked it so much that we did another (paid) tour with the same guide (Eric Levy, an American with a very interesting familial connection with the founding of Israel) that same afternoon. In between tours we found a great restaurant by chance in the area next to the Tower.

Jaffa really does offer the perfect combo - fantastic multicultural cuisine (BEST Malabi (Arabic desert) in the world in every corner, and best Shawarma at Bino’s (AKA Dr. Shakshuka - no joke)), sunny wheather, lovely beaches, old vs modern sites, shopping... What more can one ask for?

Only a shout away from the heart of Tel Aviv (and very accessible) resides beautiful Jaffa. Truly a not-to-miss place when in Israel. Although in recent years it has lost a some of its authenticity and has become more modern and expensive, it simply has a certain something, a charm that makes it the amazing place that it is.

Do not miss the flea market at night - wonderful ambiance and vibes wherever you go, be it a restaurant, bar or just a cafe. (my personal favorite is Shafa Bar)

Highly recommended.

If you are in Tel Aviv you must go to Jaffa. It is an amazing place with great little shops full of Knick knacks and great clothes. The food shops are a mix of Israeli and Arabic so you have lots of options even on Shabbat. My family and I keep finding our way back to Jaffa a few times a week.

Nice little port, crowded but very beautiful. We took a bike ride from central Tel aviv, strolled around
