After travelling in a bus all day, we arrived at the hotel and were welcomed with a cool drink. Travelling as part of a tour group, our room keys were issued quickly. The room we had was large with a small balcony and and a fantastic view of the Sea of Galilee. Food for breakfast and dinner was plentiful with a good selection.
After a day of touring it was nice to be able to relax and cool down in the pool.
There is a small stony beach and roped of water area that you can use to go into the Sea of Galilee.
The hotel was adding an extra floor when we were there and there are some renovations going on.
What this hotel lacks in modern furnishings and decoration, it more than makes up for with the atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff.

Internet never worked for more than 5 minutes in the room or in other areas, only in the reception -_-...
When I wanted to iron my clothes the ironing was dirty and my blouse was also dirty after that-_-... Ironing room smells bad and everything is dirty.
The cleaning of the rooms is also not really good. In general the hotel needs urgently maintenance.
For breakfast you have to wait till the waitress see you and give you some coffee -_-...
Really disappointing...

The hotel is dated, but clean, ok for one night stand while touring in Galilee region.
Nice pool, very descent breakfast. Beach is very rocky with the sign prohibiting to sweem. Rooms are clean, cheaply decorated, phone and hairdryer look like they are from 70. Just keep your expectation realistic and you will be fine. It's deffinately not horrible. Catering to large budget tour groups, Germans, Chinese etc

We are a family of four who stayed at this hotel in July. The staff were always available, informative and friendly. We had to change room during our stay and they could not have been more helpful. The location is fabulous, right on the shores of the lake, with its own private beach. Watching the sunrise is highly recommended. The food was delicious and plentiful and the restaurant staff delightful. We would definitely return. Thanks for a fabulous few days!!

Room Tip: All rooms have Sea views but the higher floors have better views.

We booked the Ron Beach Hotel based on Trip Advisor. We were horrified when we arrived at the condition of this sadly neglected hotel. It occupies a wonderful position but it is run down and in dire need of refurbishment. If you are accustomed to staying in cheap motels or hostels then this will suit you, because it is beyond basic. The bed linen and towels were clean but the rooms were not. The windows were filthy and hadn't been wiped over in years. The furniture was dusty and room corners were black. It was obvious that the furnishings had been there since the 60's and no renovations or maintenance had been done to the 'hotel' in years. The staff were indifferent. Such a shame as it has a wonderful location.

Room Tip: Don't choose a room at all.
