After going to Seychelles I realised that Anse Volbert and Cote D'Or beach are one and the same. My review also is therefore more or less the same.

This beach is a starting point for many of the cruise that take people on a day long excursions to places like Curieuse islands etc. It's therefore busy with people waiting for these boats or getting into the body's etc.

The beach is on the road and hence access is quite easy. It's easy to locate too. There are a few shops around, making it easy for people to buy water, food etc.

Water is clean. However it's not calm when too many boats keep doing ferry. It's quite enjoyable to see the boats standing, quite picturesque.

The beach is beautiful and one can see people swing here at ease. Many girls in the surrounding area and hence for many, this is the convenient beach to visit. Quite a scenic place. One gets to see islands in the waters that are lush green.

This beach too has some weeds based on the season.

The beach is quite a long stretch and one can enjoy having long walk in the sand, which is white and quite smooth.

One had heard of incidences of bag being stolen, so one needs to be careful not to leave the bags unattended.

The bus stop is quite close and bus frequency good. This is accessible using public transport too.

Very convenient place for taking a day long cruise from here. For swimming and snorkeling however one can look forward to many better beaches at Praslin such as anse Lazio, grand anse etc.

Côte d'or, Anse Volbert form together one of the longest beach of Praslin with Grande anse at the opposite. You could find lot restaurants here and lot of boats on the shore to join some little islands or just look at the arrival of the fishermen in the morning... The water is blue but not clear as at other beaches on the island. You can swim easily or play on the shore with children, it's very safety.
But the most important thing here is the local life. Lot of local people try to live with the tourism here, simply, kindly... So please, stop, buy, speak to them and you'll see that Seychelles are not only big resorts with security fences !
An example, at the main corner here along the road, around the bus stop, you'll see guys selling fruits and vegetables...
Buy them, the fruits are local and you'll help some Seychellois families to live. Ask Alain (he likes spoken French) and Georgy... And a little trick, ask them a personal boat to join some beaches or St Pierre island or other islands... They will organize for you a simple tour but you could decide when and where you want to go ! You'll help the community and won't be with the groups in the main tour operators all together (I could see sharks quietly at St Pierre like that, alone). Think about that and speak to the citizens of the islands they will appreciate and you'll discover different Seychelles, don't be afraid !
Last thing, a bit after Anse Volbert, you'll find anse petite cour, a wonderful bay with new coral reef in the middle. Normally all the Seychelles beaches are public but the owner of La Reserve hotel here, closed the entrance by walking and say that it's not allowed to pass... Incredible, the only beach with hotel forbidden to join, even Lemuria resort and Raffle resort accept people on "their" beaches, but not here ! And even if you arrive from the sea side by boat (that is "allowed" !!!) the guardian follows you as the worst of criminals ! Seychelles has changed too much !

Anse Volbert is a long beach with brilliant white sand. The surrounding is very clam and mesmerizing. The Sunrise over the mountains is just fantastic. Very good for sports and relaxation.

First time I saw such kind of sand quality. It's like a talcum powder. Nice flat beach with a small island in front. A quit beach to spend lazy time.
