This hotel is conveniently located for business in Daejeon, adjacent to the government complex and close to the new city centre. We were the only Westerners visible during our recent stay. The rooms are surprisingly large. Expecting Asian business hotel room sizes, we had booked a twin suite, which turned out to be huge—twice the size of a standard hotel room. If booking again, we would opt for one of the mid-range rooms. The rooms are clean but Spartan—carpet squares and vinyl tile over concrete floors, and only three pillows in total for the two double beds. The hotel runs on a strictly regimented basis—don’t try to check-in before 4:00, and make sure you are out before 10:00 or extra charges apply. Breakfast is included, but if you want coffee, head to the Starbucks next door as the coffee coming out of the machine in the breakfast room is water that had once been in the vicinity of coffee beans.
